The Eliot Congregational Church is in Roxbury, MA named in honor of John Eliot who also founded the Roxbury Latin School in 1645.
The school was open to all boys including "such negroes [sic] or Indians [sic] as may or shall come"

Man I can’t believe the news… I just heard Pableaux Johnson died. He was a legend of culture photography. Every second line, Indian etc. He was also a very nice guy and super supportive of me. Said he had a heart attack at the second line. He loved the culture. 😞

Remembering our friend Pableaux Johnson, who passed away earlier today. Pableaux wrote about and photographed our slow roasted duck dish many years ago. It was pre-K! We still have customers dine with us today because of that article. He will be painfully missed. Our deepest sympathies to Pableaux’s loved ones. May he RIP 💔❤️‍🩹
