Tuchel was partially right. The spaces opened when we scored and they started spamming crosses. It makes sense to bring on ONE defender who’s good in the air and has good position to cut anything off. However, bringing on 3 and taking out ALL your attacking outlet Is crazy.

It’s criminal to me tuchel saw how this game was unwinding and brought on 3 DEFENDERS and still conceded a cross to LAUTARO MARTINEZ. He needed midfielders, the Enzo goal was purely us switching off and a lack of midfield depth. You HAVE to 2v1 Messi, so a gap is naturally left.
