@mikjcal Repetition with negative sentiment: the exact business model that social media (echo chambers) & sky news have monetised because audience remain engaged for longer when they're mad rather than seeing happy news content
@FairNPractical@Potstirrer111 Experienced, skilled people are going to have families coming with them. I was a migrant 20 yrs ago & I brought my family with me. Australia now has an additional midwife they didn't have to train & two bright, decent kids (IMO 😁) The issue is the list of skills needed!
@TonyShepherd4 So simultaneously Albo & Jim are getting attacked for 'not understanding that's how you make money' by Dave, and also by News Corp for having used NG & CGT on property in the past
Finally! ICAC has announced its long-awaited inquiry into allegations concerning people associated with the NSW Liberal Party, the CEO of Catholic Schools NSW Dallas McInerney, property developer Jean Nassif, hotelier Michael O’Hara, certain Strathfield councillors and others.
@Potstirrer111 This is immigration & economic growth policy for our island nation. We lose genuinely skilled applicants to other countries if ppl can't bring their children. An alternative needs to be presented (that avoids the Japan-like decades decline), otherwise it's just a distraction.
@Potstirrer111 That's one of the ways we attract skilled migrants & make them stay. Otherwise we could have a more transient workforce coming in that need to be continuously trained to fit into the workforce. Critique of a system since the 200s without offering the ideal ratio is unhelpful
Who is behind Pauline's surge?
Watch this report by A Current Affair on the Indonesion Facebook cyber army posing as Aussies pushing ON propaganda.
Some of these accounts have over 100k followers

When asked what they thought "would be best for Australia overall", 49% of respondents to YouGov said falling housing prices would be best over the next 2 years.
This was the most popular view among voters for all parties.

I think people have lost the will to try fact-check this guy due to the volume of lies he spreads.
Also it's actually pretty difficult with this image and quite time consuming.
It just happens I had nothing better to do. /1
'NSW Police has warned against arming Jewish security group CSG in response to the Bondi terrorist attack because the privilege could harm social cohesion, rejecting an idea endorsed by NSW Premier Chris Minns.'

These are the two people running a Pauline Hanson support group on Facebook. It has over 100,000 followers. Pushing rage bait posts about our govt. And how wonderful Pauline is. All from Indonesia. These need to be shut down as it is foreign interference in our political system.
A Sky News Pulse/YouGov poll shows 49% of Australians want house prices to decrease over the next 2 years, compared to just 17% wanting an increase.
Key figures wanting a drop:
.66% of renters
.40% of outright homeowners
.38% of mortgage holders
.0% Dave Hughes.

Tanya Plibersek hits back at Patricia Karvelas who insists Pauline Hanson “clarified” she wasn’t attacking PPL, says she referred to ‘business’
“Hang on a minute…”
Plibersek reminds PK, she’s gone after PPL since 2017
& that Hanson doesn’t even know,
“Taxpayers pay for it”💥
Another electorate now has more than 10% using a home battery for power. Chris Bowen "What inner-city woke electorate is it?"
He then shreds the many glum faces in the LNP because it was Angus Taylor's electorate (even though he opposes the policy).
"Fantastic. Well Done Hume!'
We are living in the dumbest of times for politics. No matter who you vote for no one can guarantee that something will or won’t happen and they certainly can’t control house prices.
