Today, C-Shift Station 31 had visitors from @paddingtonstationpreschool ! The crew gave a station tour and a show and tell of Truck 31 and @stadiummedical Medic 23.

Today's #FleetFridays featuring Engine 32!

Engine 32 is a 2011 Pierce Saber type 1 fire engine. It is powered by a 450 hp Cummins L9 diesel engine backed by a 6 speed Allison transmission.

It has a 1509 GPM PUC (Pierce Ultimate Configuration) Pump with 500 gals of water.

This morning at approximately 6:13 am, Fairmount Fire crews provided mutual aid and responded to a structure fire with @ArvadaFire located within a storage facility along the I-70 Frontage Road and Carr Street.

Featured on today's #fleetfriday is our 2018 Pierce Ascendant single axle 107’ aerial. 500 gallons of water carried, 1500 GPM pump, and weighs right under 57,000 lbs.

Wear a “PFD” personal flotation device/life jacket whenever around moving water. Even if you’re a good swimmer the creek has added dangers that most people don’t take into account. The water current can sweep you off your feet and hold you under water.

With warmer days ahead, will see a increase in people coming down to Golden to enjoy a day of cooling off in Clear Creek by floating down on a inflatable tube. With increased rise in water level, Golden Fire sees a increase in water rescues.
