Mike Stuart (R) has defeated Sen. Ron Stollings (D) for WV State Senate, flipping a district Stollings won by over 13.4 percent in 2018.

Stuart received 58 percent (13,198 votes), while Stollings received only 42 percent (9,488 votes).

Mark Hunt (R) has defeated Sen. Richard Lindsay (D) for WV State Senate, flipping a district Lindsay narrowly won in 2018.

Hunt received 57 percent (14,568 votes), while Lindsay received only 43 percent (11,071 votes).

Inflation was the top issue for voters at 40.7 percent.

Yesterday, we attended the House Judiciary Committee meeting, which took up H.B. 4004 and H.B. 4005

H.B. 4004 limits abortion to 15-weeks.

H.B. 4005 bans the collection, sale, and transport of fetal organs and body parts.

Both bills passed and are headed to the floor.
