It is honestly disappointing to watch certain individuals spread narratives about the Daerona Community while having little to no understanding of what the community actually represents. Even more shameful is seeing lobbyists and politically connected figures such as @EGerasouli35992 involve themselves in childish online drama simply to protect interests, gain influence, or satisfy those funding and directing them behind the scenes.
Before speaking on Daerona, people should first understand that the Daerona Community does not belong to one individual, one political group, or one movement as some are desperately trying to claim. Daerona was built as a platform for Eritreans from different backgrounds who believe in justice, open discussion, human rights, and the future of Eritrea beyond fear and division.
Trying to reduce it into factional politics only exposes the dishonesty and insecurity of those pushing these narratives.
We know the truth about Daerona, and with time the facts will speak louder than online manipulation and paid talking points ever could. Those attacking the community today may eventually end up regretting the words they are confidently throwing around now.
It is unfortunate seeing people who barely understand the internal reality of the community speaking as if they are experts. Even worse is when individuals appear willing to say whatever they are told simply to protect personal interests or fill their pockets. At that point, principles, truth, and integrity become secondary to influence and financial gain.
The saddest part of all this is watching some young people allow themselves to be manipulated into spreading division instead of standing for unity, justice, and independent thinking. Eritrean youth should be building bridges, questioning propaganda, and protecting their dignity — not becoming instruments in unnecessary political games and personal agendas.
Daerona remains a community platform that was created for dialogue, awareness, and justice. No amount of misinformation, gossip, or outside pressure will change that reality.
In the end, truth always outlives propaganda, and genuine communities always outlast manufactured narratives.

Doch kein System, das auf Angst aufgebaut ist, hält ewig. Ein Volk, das nach Freiheit, Gerechtigkeit, Würde und Demokratie ruft, kann nicht dauerhaft unterdrückt werden. Eritrea braucht keinen weiteren Stillstand. Eritrea braucht Veränderung. Nicht Reformen ohne Wirkung sondern echte politische Veränderung, Rechtsstaatlichkeit und eine Zukunft, in der Menschen frei sprechen, frei denken und frei leben können. Die Wahrheit lässt sich nicht dauerhaft verbieten.
