@TheDinaMarieX2@mattvanswol@trevisw77 I don’t think much — if any — of this list is actually true. Like, what’s stopping you from claiming to be an undocumented immigrant to get free food and housing and healthcare?
@willjohnsonbf1 Yes. A playbook of abhorrent policies that hurt Americans is bad. Making a playbook to implement policies that would help Americans is good.
@Valenti39175896@Doxy6661@Stefano_Cellino@Bossy_Leah@CunneffS It took decades for either Irish or Italian immigrants to be considered “white” in this country, so I’m not actually sure that what you say is true.
Moreover: we’re still prosecuting crimes committed by people of color. No clue why you would think otherwise.
@Valenti39175896@Doxy6661@Stefano_Cellino@Bossy_Leah@CunneffS People have been demonizing immigrants for the entire history of the US. Newspapers used to write about Italians and Irish coming to this country and having lots of babies and not assimilating and changing the fabric of the country. The last 30 years have been nothing new.
@FLSUN19@MattWalshBlog Why would anything be different in 20 years? What changed due to this ruling? The ruling just upholds a rule that’s been in place for 150 years.
