@AnnieBeale1 Schools have generally been quite open about what they do. Report cards, curriculum documents, school mission statements, and government policies have long focused on academic learning, personal development, and preparation for adult life. There’s no secrecy about that.
@AnnieBeale1 Many professions teach people for roles they have never personally performed. A university lecturer teaching law may never have been a judge. A sports coach may never have played professionally. Yet each prepares their pupils for their chosen profession….
