Our conference will bring together tenants, residents, and housing campaign groups to discuss the creation of a national tenants and residents union. The aim is to form a steering committee that can take the project to the next level. All welcome.
At our AGM we also elected our new Executive Committee. This year our committee welcomes lots of new faces who are dedicated and passionate about cooperative housing! We're looking forward to our work over the next year.
Earlier this month LFHC hosted our Annual General Meeting. The event took place at Unite the Union's regional office with more attending online. There was great discussion on issues facing coops in London and how we can grow our movement! We were also joined by @ZoeGarbett
The London Federation of Housing Coops attended this important event yesterday, with discussions and contributions from housing experts and elected politicians. Organisations like LFHC came together to discuss a sustainable and impactful way forward to create more social housing.
We were glad to be joined by and take part in the #WelfareNotWarfare protest and @Dis_PPL_Protest after the housing protest. LFHC calls for investment into housing and tenant protections. We say no to cuts which will impact disabled people and disabled coop tenants so heavily!

If you haven't already done so, don't forget to take our survey on housing and the workplace!
Please help by taking the survey and circulating within your network: https://t.co/h1waFhu9VP
Our survey is about the impact of the housing crisis in the workplace. The survey is completely anonymous. It asks about the impact of rising rents, as well as illness and injury triggered by bad housing which leads to workplace absence.
