@Tabletop_Deals Oooh, my bad. I'm only familiar with Warhammer 2nd and 4th Eds. Didn't realize 3rd was such a departure. Yeah, that makes total sense then. :)
@Tabletop_Deals WotC D20 Star Wars was the first RPG I ever played. That was 20 years ago. Since then, I’ve played all the Star Wars games, and I have to say, WEG D6 might be my favorite.
@AandGShow Jack, @PositiveSean is wrong. If you’re going to listen to one Beastie Boys album, check out Hello Nasty. It’s probably in my Top 5 albums of all time.
@The_Kyle_Mann That's fair. Maps are awesome.
I also love the puzzle of deck-building, the character progression of spending xp to better your deck, and the narrative arc of a campaign. It gives me a little RPG flavor, and I can't resist that.
@The_Kyle_Mann Your HP Lovecraft rec has me wondering: which Mythos board games do you like most? My fav is the Arkham Horror LCG, but I dig a lot of them.
@The_Kyle_Mann I’ve never played Arkham 1e, but 2e continues to be a guilty pleasure of mine. As bloated and sloggy as it can be, it’s still my favorite box of dice-chucking nonsense.
@The_Kyle_Mann Great choices! I played a lot of Mansions 2e, and I appreciated a lot of what it was doing. But I found it just made me want to play the LCG more, because it’s quicker and does narrative just a little better imo.
HONEST ANSWERS ONLY: What were your five most-listened-to bands or artists in high school? (And don't try to be cool and say some hardcore band from Manitoba that three people have heard of).
