Hi everyone, Ive been doing telephone-befriending volunteer for 3 months now & finding that a lot of people are interested to do the same whenever I tell them about this. So, now they are opening opportunities and welcoming new volunteers, and I'm delighted to share this with u.

In brief, you just need to allocate (at least) 1 hour a week to call someone who needs a companion (usually elderly). Just a phone call and talk, no physical contact needed.
