I have explained this on countless previous occasions but let me do so again: Islam views the world through a dual prism: 1) dar al-Islam (the house of Islam); 2) dal al-harb (the house of war). Any country that is under Islamic control is part of the former. Any country that is not yet under Islamic control is part of the latter. A country that was once ruled by Islam and then is no longer ruled by it MUST be reconquered by Islam (canonically speaking). This is why you hear Muslims saying that Al-Andalus must be reconquered. This is why Israel is such an existential affront to Islam. These are foundational canonical tenets of Islam. The entire world must belong to Islam according to its teachings, hence it is a profoundly expansionist and supremacist ideology. It is also true that millions of Muslims may not actively engage in implementing those canonical doctrines. Hence, Islam is deeply incongruent with Western values AND many Muslims are perfectly lovely and peaceful. Both of those statements are true.

A failed education system is one that teaches kids that:

1. Captain Cook was an invader. There were only 93 people onboard the Endeavour, including scientists & arborists. If a small ship with 93 people onboard was able to invade Australia it speaks very poorly of the local population who couldn't defend themselves against the "invaders". Fact is Captain Cook was an explorer, not an invader. Also, the chances of a successful expedition from England to Australia in the late 1700's was less than 1%. On a small wooden boat, Cook had to negotiate some of the world's most treacherous seas & major oceans (Atlantic, Indian & Great Southern Ocean) in an era of no modern communications, no refrigeration, no modern medicine & strong likelihood of a mutiny at sea.

2. The end of the world is imminent due to climate change caused by the human use of fossil fuels. Fact is despite the billions of tonnes of CO2 emissions over many decades, carbon dioxide still only accounts for 0.04% of the earth's atmosphere, a number that hasn't changed in centuries.

3. Australis is a racist country. Fact is 32% of Australia's population is made up of migrants, one of the highest in the world. Indians & Chinese now make up 2 million of Australia's 28 million people. Who exactly are the racists? Australian Chinese? Australian Indians? Australian Italians? Australian Greeks? Australian Lebanese?

4. They live on stolen land. Fact is every country on earth has been colonised at some point in their history. Also, if the Spanish or French had colonised Australia history tells us the indigenous population would have been wiped out. Fact is, Australia is a highly developed nation with a high standard of living thanks to those who have moved here since 1788.

As I say, Australia's education system is failing our kids by teaching them ideologically driven, factually incorrect nonsense.

PUBLIC HEALTH FAILURE — OR SOMETHING WORSE?

The BMJ has published an externally peer-reviewed investigation that should trigger an independent inquiry.

It reports that US officials knew the statistical method used to scan VAERS could miss safety signals during the mass COVID-19 vaccination program.

Because Pfizer and Moderna reports dominated the database, a statistical problem known as “masking” could cause adverse events shared by both vaccines to disappear into the background and produce no automated warning.

FDA physician Dr Ana Szarfman and statistician William DuMouchel reportedly warned senior officials in early 2021 and proposed an updated method. According to The BMJ, Szarfman was then instructed to stop producing and circulating alternative analyses. The reasons advanced included avoiding confusion and protecting vaccine confidence.

The official algorithm reportedly failed to flag myocarditis, pericarditis, Bell’s palsy and tinnitus. The updated method also reportedly produced a safety signal involving death and sudden death.

It demands investigation.

“No signal” cannot be presented as evidence of safety when officials know the detector has blind spots built into it.

If safety warnings were sidelined and alternative analyses stopped to preserve confidence in a government program, this goes beyond an innocent methodological error. It raises legitimate questions of serious maladministration, regulatory capture, abuse of public power and possible institutional corruption.

This also goes directly to informed consent. Governments mandated these products, terminated employment, restricted participation in society and assured the public that safety was being closely monitored.

Australia must now disclose:

Whether the TGA knew about this masking problem.
Whether Australian assessments relied on outputs from the defective US method.
Whether Australian data were independently tested for masking.
What signals were identified, escalated, rejected or withheld.
Whether public assurances accurately reflected internal uncertainty.

There must be an independent inquiry with power to compel documents and testimony, accompanied by the release of the underlying data, algorithms, emails and decision records.

Public confidence is not protected by stopping inconvenient analysis. That is how public confidence is destroyed.
