you are pretty dumb about the cars. 95% of things on the car are “off the shelf” standard parts teams MUST by from a single vendor. The engines are all limited to the same HP. Aero numbers are identical. The only diference in team cars is the setup such as suspension settings and brake package. And of course the drivers seat.
@Frontstretch Because NASCAR owns the numbers and has decided not to retire any. As for the 43, Legacy bought Petty out and with that they got the 43 to use.
@RapidResponse47 The Gov of a State has ZERO jurisdiction over construction of ANYTHING on a military base. That base is the property of the US Government, in fact you’ll see signs at every entrance and on every fence that says so. @SecWar are you going to let the Gov of MD run a military base?
@coachkatykat My ring finger is quite a bit longer and I’m a little bigger than average at 7.5” fully erect. Does anyone know the exact amount of correlation in the two measurements?
@RapidResponse47@POTUS Market don’t care they want better earnings, and lower oil costs. Get the Iran situation SETTLED or we risk some bad economic situations pretty soon.
R6P8 is no longer an approved engine for NASCAR. Every single engine out there is capable of 1000HP plus but they aren’t allowed to go there so it doesn’t matter what HP the R6P8 produced. Engines have to last two full races now and that took some work, the R6P8 would likely not do that. Also the question of WHO builds it? They would have to be approved by NASCAR just like RYR, Hendrick, RCR and TRD. Then finding high performance parts would be hard as well, finding 13 blocks per car for a season would be a challenge alone. The whole support system would have to be rebuilt and that’s not easy, costs $$, and takes time. It might take 5 Star 6 months to make a Charger body mold.
@AllyRacingFan48@THE_Duck_Man21 True but that’s evolved since then. The concept is similar but I doubt to old fuel and timing maps would work with the current gen software 15 years later.
@AllyRacingFan48@THE_Duck_Man21 Not really, the other mfgs are getting more HP and long life both with technology advances. The Mopar Penske engine is 1990s tech. It wasn’t even EFI.
@bobpockrass@IMS LOL@laying rubber down, the next early Summer Thunderstorm will wash it all away. It’s testing tires and perhaps he was chosen to put the grippiest compound to see how the track rubbers up with it and how many laps it lasts.
@CodyLPatterson@nascarman_rr That was the perfect hit and we didn’t know about Basal Skull Fractures at that time. Same car with HANS and Soft Walls was excellent.
@ElainaStJames I don’t do IG. Just another platform with the same or very similar content. Until China has ZERO ties in any way shape or form including revenue I won’t do TIkTok.
@elonmusk@SawyerMerritt Hunh? A FULL exemption means SpaceX pays NOTHING, Zip, Nada, Zero in taxes. SpaceX employees who live in that County will pay taxes but you cannot count that as coming from SpaceX. Local purchases from SpaceX and visitors will have sales tax but that’s not a lot. @AJS59244819@A_S12@LEGACYMotorClub@JimmieJohnson That and $2.00 will get you a Coke. Three wins across several teams and quite a few years in Cup is NOT a proven winner who has a shot to win in any race at any track.
