Hey @LNER I’ve requested a refund of one of two train ticket from Kings Cross to Newcastle today, as I forgot I’d already bought one for myself some time ago, whilst I was booking one for my PA. How do I know which ticket to scan on barriers and on train please?
I'm a "vandal," I'm "raking in obscene compensation by bullying," and
"vexatious."
So @RailDeliveryGrp members say about me in private.
Here's what documents released under GDPR reveal about how the rail industry views disabled passengers. 🧵 1/12

@LNER Just in time before the train set off. If my Pa didn’t step off train, and end up having doors closed on her, I’d be travelling back to Newcastle. Very stressful experience. How do I complain about this please? Rate on the @PassAssistance app but not sure if they follow it up.
Disabled people across the country have backed the chief executive of a disability organisation after she turned down an MBE because of how successive governments have “demonised, dehumanised and scapegoated” disabled people.

My PA just got trapped in a closing door trying to get staff attention, and new passengers are getting on the train it’s very stressful @PassAssistance please help!
Ok a train driver got on after my Pa waved him down and called the control which is very lucky, as the train is due to start moving directly back to Newcastle with no stops.
Hi @TPExpressTrains the accessible toilet was out of order on the 11.02 NCL to York. Do you know if this will be an issue for my return at 20.23 please.
Here's to hoping the House of Lords gives the Assisted Dying Bill the scrutiny, safeguarding, & open debate it failed to get in the Commons. Lives -- of disabled and ill people, already under attack in this country -- are quite literally at stake.

@arrivanortheast I’ve been waiting for the 11.46 from gosforth high street woodbine road to Alnwick since 11.30. Do you know if this bus will arrive please.
The DWP admitted 25 cases in one year where their own errors caused serious harm or death—missed suicide warnings, ignored calls for help, unsafe decisions. They said it after the vote. Will you listen on ‘substantial risk’ now? It’s about to get worse. https://t.co/a2wHrV4UV2
Anyone know who runs assistance at Birmingham New Street? So many fails today, missed a train because they didn’t know it came in, baffling instructions, an hour wait and then them not passing onto ramp staff that I was on the train. @Doug_Paulley@flowergirl_lon
Hi @TravelodgeUK, I had to book into Premier Inn after being refunded, but you wouldn’t cover the £357 difference for the late notice room. By the time you refused, wet rooms had sold out, so I’m stuck with a lowered bath I can’t shower in. At least I can breathe at night.
Hi @TravelodgeUK, I’ve just checked into your Scarborough hotel and am incredibly distressed to find the nearest plug is over 8ft from the bed. As someone who uses a ventilator overnight, I need access to a plug near the bed. Which all accessible rooms should have. 1/5
Your receptionist is doing their best, but the only solution offered was a long extension lead — which is unsafe, especially for my carer who needs to support me through the night and for your team if there is a fire or an emergency during the night. 2/5

I’m now frantically trying to find an accessible hotel, so far all are sold out. This was supposed to be my first holiday with my nephew. Instead, I’m upset and stressed.
I travel often and usually rely on Travelodge without issue. This has been really distressing. 5/5
I was told “all accessible rooms are like this” because of the building’s age. But I don’t understand why that prevents bedside plugs or safe grab rails and shower chairs? Was an access audit carried out? 4/5
