@VisualCap Really like the chart, but 3 things: 1) Quality of life stats seem quite subjective, disagree with some ratings. 2) For 100 global cities, some odd selections - 2 in Lithuania? Weird Brazil picks… Very Europe focused. 3) Jakarta is now most populous city, should be included.
@MikeCrispi@AndyKimNJ@BobHugin@CurtisBashaw You make up a controversy over a tie pattern, which doesn’t look like a North Korean flag at all. If it was a flag at all (which I doubt it is), it would clearly be a Costa Rican flag. Your phony outrage over a non-flag you misidentified should be very embarrassing.
As a traveler, I'm both a proud American and a citizen of the world — and I've got a few thoughts on this coming election.
This election is deeper than partisanship. It's far more than Republican versus Democrat. In the future, big challenges like pandemics, refugees, and climate change will be blind to borders. They'll be everyone's problem and only solved by working together as a family of nations.
The world needs not American isolation, but American leadership. Not the chaos of Trump, but the stability of @KamalaHarris.
Of course, how you vote is your choice. But if you believe, as I do, in the importance of nations working together constructively, the stakes are really high...and the best candidate is clear. Register to vote today at https://t.co/ghTvEdFIEP — and encourage your travelin’ friends to do the same!
It is time to blow up the system. This continues to be completely unacceptable. It is clear that EVERYONE at @usatf is more concerned with relationships than winning. No athlete should step on the track and run another relay until this program is changed from top to bottom.
@MedBennett@Oilfield_Rando When the planet is 2° warmer, it has major impacts locally due to more extreme temp swings. Montana’s had large flooding events for two summers in a row due to combo of greater than expected rainfall and high temperatures causing rapid snowmelt. (Yellowstone ‘22, Milk River ‘23)
@MedBennett@Oilfield_Rando That clearly shows an increase in average annual temperature. How many annual averages temperatures are above 60° prior to 1970 (not many), and how many are above 60° after 1970 (many)? The scale is from 0-100, so the 2° average increase isn’t super dramatic but it’s still clear.
@clarkprincell Hey great, CEO of a responsible development organization, amazing, congrats! Good luck, especially with any water conservation efforts you’ll be involved with.
@FACoalition@USConst_Amend_I Americans and honking is a very weird aggressive place. You could be shot in a psychotic road rage incident, and the defense would be “But he honked.” ..and many people would react by saying “Oh! Well maybe it was justified 🤷♂️” Americans need to chill out while on the road more.
