🇺🇦🇩🇪 THE END OF PUTIN'S DRONES! GERMANY IS SENDING UKRAINE ITS LATEST SKYRANGER AIR DEFENSE SYSTEMS!

Germany is supplying Ukraine with advanced Skyranger mobile air defense systems manufactured by the German defense company Rheinmetall.

These modern, highly automated air defense systems are designed to intercept drones, cruise missiles, and other low-flying aerial threats, providing a powerful additional layer of protection against Russian attacks.

Key features and capabilities:

Drone-free zones: Each Skyranger unit is designed to protect a designated area against hostile unmanned aerial vehicles. Under suitable operational conditions, a single system can help establish a protective zone covering approximately 4 × 4 kilometers.

Intelligent ammunition: The system uses programmable airburst ammunition. Instead of relying solely on a direct hit, its cannon fires projectiles that release a concentrated cloud of tungsten subprojectiles at a precisely calculated point in front of the target, dramatically increasing the probability of destroying incoming drones.

Versatile platforms: The Skyranger family includes the Skyranger 30, equipped with a 30 mm automatic cannon and optional short-range air defense missiles, and the Skyranger 35, featuring a powerful 35 mm KDG revolver cannon. The modular turret can be integrated onto armored vehicles, including Boxer platforms, while the Skyranger 35 has also been developed for integration with Leopard 1-based vehicles.

High rate of fire: Depending on the configuration, the weapons can achieve rates of fire of approximately 1,000–1,250 rounds per minute, allowing rapid engagement of incoming aerial threats.

For Ukraine, these deliveries are particularly important as Russia continues launching waves of attack drones against cities, energy facilities, and other critical infrastructure.

Putin's drones are facing an increasingly dangerous enemy. Germany is helping Ukraine build a stronger shield over its skies. 🇺🇦🇩🇪

[Committee for Academic Freedom @ComAcFreedom]

🚨BREAKING: CAF has commissioned an independent investigation into Cambridge’s appointment of Dr Jason Arday as its youngest ever black professor, amid growing professional disquiet over his academic record, the circumstances of his appointment, the University’s handling of concerns raised about his scholarship and, more recently, the scope and direction of Cambridge’s own inquiry.

You can find out more here:

https://t.co/5hIoPtTZrD

The investigation will be chaired by Professor Swaran Preet Singh, Lord Singh of Solihull, a former Commissioner of the Equality and Human Rights Commission who previously led the independent investigation into allegations of discrimination within the Conservative Party.

He will be joined by a distinguished panel comprising Harvard psychologist Professor Steven Pinker, UCL sociologist Professor Alice Sullivan, Cambridge historian Professor Robert Tombs and Labour peer Professor Maurice Glasman.

Award-winning investigative journalist Nick Wallis, whose work helped expose the Post Office Horizon scandal, will lead the investigation with a dedicated research team.

CAF has been contacted by numerous Cambridge academics who are deeply concerned that the University’s own investigation will fail to confront the wider institutional culture in which the Arday affair unfolded.

Whether these concerns are justified is for the independent investigation to determine. But Cambridge is one of the world’s oldest and greatest universities, and what happens to its academic culture has implications for higher education as a whole. So we think it’s worth going the extra mile to make sure the right questions are asked and the right lessons learned.

CAF strongly encourages current and former academics, students and other members of the University community, as well as others with relevant knowledge, to come forward with information.

This might include policy documents, internal correspondence or first-hand accounts concerning Arday’s academic record and appointment, the University’s response to concerns about his scholarship and its treatment of those who raised them, and the operation of institutional policies relating to recruitment, promotion, academic misconduct, research integrity and EDI.

Anyone wishing to contribute can contact the Investigator directly at:

[email protected]

Many congratulations to @ucl Prof Sallie Baxendale on being shortlisted for the Maddox Prize for standing up for science.

'Baxendale told THE that being shortlisted for the Maddox Prize “isn’t just a personal vindication” given the standing of the prize in the scientific community.

“It sends a message that scientific scrutiny is something to be encouraged, rather than feared,” she said.

“I sincerely hope this recognition gives others the confidence to speak up, challenge unsupported claims and insist that evidence remains at the heart of decision-making, particularly in the field of gender medicine, but in all areas of medicine, where assumptions and misplaced certainty can have very real consequences for people’s lives.”'

[Olena Rohoza @OlenaRohoza]

Never before has the United States been led by such a worthless, intellectually and morally bankrupt president — a walking absurdity covered in fake tan, with absolutely no ethical boundaries.

Yesterday, Donald Trump called Russian President Vladimir Putin and humbly begged him to save the Republican Party and, above all, his precious self from a potentially catastrophic defeat in the upcoming congressional midterm elections. A defeat that would be the logical consequence of two phenomenally disastrous years of his second coming to the White House, resembling an endless reality show broadcast straight from a psychiatric asylum.

No, of course, the words “Save me, Vladimir!” were never spoken aloud. Instead, there were “warm” birthday greetings to Putin, as described by the Russian dictator's aide, Yuri Ushakov. But behind those warm words, one can almost hear the mortal terror of a drowning man.

The real outcome of this warm conversation between two old bastard accomplices was an agreement to supply Russian diesel fuel to the United States. Only a complete idiot would fail to understand why the American president suddenly needed Kremlin diesel less than a month before the elections, when everything in the White House is falling apart and a fuel lifeline from Moscow has become the last hope the US president is desperately clinging to.

Let me repeat this so that every red baseball cap enthusiast understands.

The president of the world's most influential and important democracy humiliates himself, practically drooling, as he calls a tyrant who, over the years of his rule, has sent at least a million people to their graves in wars that began from the very first day of his reign.

A tyrant who physically eliminated all his major rivals.

A tyrant who openly supplies military assistance and technology to Iran — a country with which the United States is effectively at war.

A tyrant who makes no secret of his sympathies for Islamist terrorist organizations across the Middle East.

And Trump does this at the very moment when, on the orders of his Kremlin handler, more than seventy Ukrainian civilians, including children, have been killed in just the past two days.

Trump eagerly shakes Putin's hands, stained with Ukrainian blood, with the lust of a prostitute who has just been paid for an expertly performed blowjob.

And now comes the cherry on top of this blood-soaked cake.

During their phone conversation, immediately after Putin supposedly promised to “help” his overseas vassal in the elections and throw him some diesel fuel, the same Putin — according to Ushakov — mockingly declared that Russia was not even considering the possibility of ending the war.

In other words, the Kremlin master openly spat straight into the fake-tanned face of that idiotic narcissist, trampling the last remnants of his cardboard greatness.

As if to say:

“Here, take the fuel and save yourself. And with the money I make from it, I'll keep killing Ukrainians with twice the strength and twice the pleasure.”

There is simply no other way to describe this rotten story.

From the very first days of his second coming to the White House, Trump voluntarily joined the ranks of those complicit in Moscow's bloody crimes.

But even that is not the most disgusting part.

The most revolting thing is that he has turned every American who voted for him, every blindly devoted Trump fanatic, into an accomplice to this historic atrocity.

Even if there was no malicious intent in their empty heads, their collective blindness has already been paid for with innocent blood.

And this story is far from over.
