Understandably, many of us are at a loss to begin to adequately describe what has been wrenched from our lives.
Alex was the natural leader of the Scottish people.
More than that, a hero of the people. He tried to appreciate everyone, saw the good in people, and gave Scotland a destination, inspiration and hope.

We will honour him.

Alex was the great political prophet of our time, sadly like another great prophet in another great story, he was betrayed by his closest disciples, denied and disowned by those that owed him most. None of whom could lace his boots.

We will remember.

Wee reminder we're not voting the Tories out in Scotland tomorrow cos they were never in. They haven't won an election here since the 1950s. All the years of Tory rule, all the harm they've wreaked, is because Scotland is part of the UK and gets the governments England votes for.
