Such a great experience at the @ncseirl conference. Catherine and Hannah's discussion about the WALK programme was very eye-opening! The WALK programme involves working with families in order for an individual with SEN to move towards a more autonomous lifestyle. #si401 #ncse2018

Th importance of environment was a key issue discussed today. Eve Hutton commented that the environment a child experiences can be "enabling" or "disabling". We as teachers need to create an enabling school environment. for ALL!This is imperative for holistic development.
