@stuck_inadream@chrisgpt Asking an LLM to explain itself doesn't work the way you think it does. Instead, it'll come up with a passable excuse on how it came up with what it did, instead of the true reason. This has been discussed in a recent paper.
@TheUnicornist LLM Gaslighting was always a thing. It would randomly tell people it's "working on their data" and for them to "be patient". Some people waited, obviously in vain. If you give it space, it will absolutely troll you.
@codyzazulak @jon_barron It's not. It actively changes while it's generating. Also, you can go in the Network inspector and see chunks arriving and morping away. Please do your research first.
@TheUnicornist@jon_barron@yao_nobond It's native. They even mention it in the PDF. Asking 4o the parameters, it spits some out, but half of them are wrong or doesn't exist. They are leftovers from the DALLE era.
@TheUnicornist@jon_barron@yao_nobond It's gaslighting you. I've tried this too, and it took that from the system instruction. It even gave me parameters. Half of them didn't even do anything.
@thefurlinator @7383487a @0xpangolin@adonis_singh I think they just tried it out with a bunch of images, went "wow", and then posted the Wiki one. Could've posted more, but anyway...
@thefurlinator @7383487a @0xpangolin@adonis_singh I give that to you. Noone needs a half-assed Wiki page generated by an AI image generator - unless it's to troll a friend and putting him there for a quick joke or something.
@thefurlinator @7383487a @0xpangolin@adonis_singh I'm not talking about the Wikipedia creation. It was just to show that 4o can now do text properly and even include some gimmicks. Real uses include, but aren't limited to, taking a pic of your room, a random item, and having a pic of how it would look like. Or a wall. Or paint..
