e/acc - @physorg_com (the website) is a great decade+ aggregator for keeping tabs on applied sciences innovations. The articles are more to the point and quantitative than the usual uni PR and pop sci pieces. It also has subsidiaries for Medicine and Tech.
@AmericaPapaBear For those interested in making similar AI image and video spoofs without censorship or bias, try @AskVenice - the Video Studio and Movie Editor are great. You can even generate spoken audio, music, and sound effects and edit them in.
@jesseproudman This open model looks great for Venice STT api, autoplay in chat, and Studio Audio. I would use it for narrating videos in Movie Editor too! It's not that often a low latency, higher end open voice model comes out that can be fully Venice hosted. Github link is in thread.
@alibaba_cloud@AskVenice Thank you for working with Venice on this one. Being able to choose from multiple video models in one editor makes a big difference since they each have their strengths.
@gekko_eth@AskVenice@venicestats As a consolation, he can think of it as a public service for the Venice ecosystem. He provided more liquid access to the DIEM compute mechanism for people who didn't have minting power but wanted to get into Venice.
@jesseproudman@AskVenice Looking forward to subaccounts for sharing access to the web/app platform for work and family/friends. It would be a quick win for spreading word of and usage of Venice!
This is what building looks like. Over 1,000 workers. Every day. West Texas. We said we were going to build the infrastructure the AI economy runs on. We meant it.
Virtuals Protocol is integrating @AskVenice to power AI agent building with private, uncensored inference, available to anyone, anywhere on @base.
Venice brings best-in-class privacy-first inference. Virtuals EconomyOS brings the full agent infrastructure stack: wallets, identity, payments, commerce, funding rails, and launch infrastructure.
We are deploying up to $400,000 in private inference credits so anyone can move from idea to working agent without compute or backend complexity getting in the way.
Start your AI journey. Inference and infra are on us.
Program details soon.
@Teknium Looking forward to a nice toggle to interface with both a local Hermes and a remote one in the same GUI. Opencode Desktop finally got theirs to a pretty good state.
@MarketBubble@ErikVoorhees In 2025 I converted my AI setup to raw API use through Venice. The gravy train of subsidized subscriptions is going to taper off eventually, and having renewing API spend through crypto is an incredible innovation. Very grateful for @ErikVoorhees offering that option.
