If they were going to license FSD why did Hyundai make these announcements?
In January 2025, Hyundai announced a strategic partnership with NVIDIA to accelerate AI-driven autonomous driving and robotics development.
In March 2025, Hyundai announced a partnership with Avride (a Texas-based startup spun out from Yandex's autonomous division) to jointly develop and operate robotaxis.
In October 2024, Hyundai announced a multi-year partnership with Waymo to integrate the company's sixth-generation Waymo Driver into Hyundai's IONIQ 5 electric SUVs.
