FL Senator making jokes about the safety & health of our LOs locked up in this heat w/NO AIR CONDITIONING!!
This is the reason our LOs suffer. Our own legislation doesn't take their jobs seriously. God is watching, and Karma doesn't care who you are!! @jonmartinesq@florida_cares
🌡️🔥 No one deserves to suffer in extreme heat, especially those who are incarcerated. It's time to take action and demand #HumaneTemperaturesForAll.
Join our cause and help us create a better future for incarcerated individuals. Together, we can make a difference.

Donate to a GREAT cause! Families struggle now more than ever to keep bonds strong & keep incarcerated parents in the center of their lives. Florida Cares back to school drives supplies these kids with a backpack full of supplies & a note from the child's incarcerated parent.
@AGAshleyMoody #NotSecureWithSecurus Why do the downtrodden of Florida have to struggle with everything? Many Floridians have a loved one in prison. Approximately 80,000 people in FL State prisons. Time for a change, SECOND LOOK perhaps?
That's NOT a solution @SecurusTech @Aventiv_Tech AND only 1 help ticket at a time can be open, w/ SO many issues, that isn't good business. Tickets are left open until the LAST possible day 14 days later. Then closed with NO fix, & "we're working on it"

In case you're not aware, my loved one purchased over 2k songs on his JPay tablet. PURCHASED at an average of $1/song. He is currently missing +/- 1200 songs. Simple math, you owe us $1200. Its been MONTHS. There are many like him #NotSecureWithSecurus
Phone calls are almost $5 for 30 minutes, our incarcerated entering at an avg 4th grade, & less that 3k each improving a reading or language skill by 1 grade who were tested this past yr. Writing family is not realistic alternative. @SpencerRoachFL @DianneHartFL@AndrewLearned
#visitsmatter Cutting back on visitation not only punished inmates but punishes families and especially our children. This takes away our childrens’ opportunities to know their parent before they are grown and move on with their lives.
Did you know that April is the month of Second Chances?
As we observe Second Chances month in April , we would love it if you would submit a post and share the positive things that your loved one is doing since coming home and reentering society.
From 7/20-10/21, Oregon Governor Brown commuted 963 sentences of medically vulnerable near end of sentence. A new report tracked the first 266, they were NOT more likely to recidivate. Florida can do this, save $ & reduce staff storages. #secondchances https://t.co/ImLkPBrSYa
While we rest and sleep we may not realize how much we have. Many in prison are hoping, praying and dreaming of a second chance to experience family, love and an opportunity to show their value to society. Florida it is time.
So excited to see this! I can't stress enough how important it is to know the views of those running to represent you. Looking forward to seeing how this candidate feels on criminal justice reform and how Florida can do better.
