@InfantryPilot Runway, here she comes again.. This time she just went into the lav.. We had to exit the runway, she was in there for about 8 mins and then we had to get back in line ๐คฏ.. Crew and passengers were pissed.. She was chatting away with everyone like nothing happened..

@MCCCANM You can easily get tunnel vision responding to an emergency, which could lead you to not paying attention to the bright red lights in front of you telling you that itโs not safe to enter the runway. Not saying thatโs what happened, but itโs easy to do.
@MCCCANM At one of my previous airports, when we, ops, taught airfield driving, the rule is even if ATC gives you clearance to cross, if the red lights (runway status lights) were illuminated, you did not cross. You were to contact ATC again and let them know of the disagreement.
