CM Vijay breaches his oath of secrecy!

Serious questions emerge concerning the presence of Thiru John Arockiasamy and Thiru Vishnu Reddy at Cabinet meetings, review sessions, and other high-level Government deliberations held by Hon. Chief Minister Thiru C. Joseph Vijay.

Thiru John Arockiasamy and Thiru Vishnu Reddy, both from Andhra Pradesh are close aides and friends of Thiru C. Joseph Vijay, the CM of Tamil Nadu. It is not clear what official positions they hold in the Government but they have been alloted with a chamber near to the Chief Minister’s chambers at the Secretariat.

If they are not Government servants, in what capacity are they attending highly confidential meetings where secret documents are circulated?

The Hon’ble Chief Minister has sworn an oath of secrecy. Involving these individuals raises serious concerns regarding compliance with constitutional norms, the Rules of Business, and his oath of secrecy.

Let the Hon. CM reveal the official designations of these two individuals and tell the public under what authority they are attending cabinet meetings and issuing directions to officials!

The Department of Information and Public Relations is a government department. While it’s part of their job to post speeches of Hon. CM & Ministers on social media, the captions being added by the DIPR are political attacks on the opposition & MLAs.

These kind of political statements by a government department is unprecedented and does not bode well for parliamentary democracy.

There’s is a difference between party and government. Hope the bureaucrats don’t blur this line in a new found frenzy to please the new CM.

DMK inherited around ₹4.8 lakh crore debt in 2021, while AIADMK’s 2016–2021 debt rise was reported as 128%. DMK’s rise was reported lower at 93%. So “highest absolute debt” is selective arithmetic, not a financial diagnosis..
