@oopsohno Same thing happened to me, but to be honest I expected it. The system is broken and work so precarious, researchers leaving hardly registers. 3 years into my transition, my new professional life is amazing. I loved academia, but law suits me better. Wishing you all the best!

Of female surgeons I know all their partners work full time
