@danvasc2 I still like the brightness and contrast of an actual CRT. But I did use a CRT rear projector for racing games and PS2 era gaming back I in the day.
They're really good for watching movies, but I'd still be on the fence to snag a 40" monster Mitsubishi curved CRT.
@ScarletSprites@iequalshane That's the Stern 2008 "Indiana Jones" which is... A game? It's also based on the original trilogy + crystal skull. They aren't really liked. They go for 5.5-6.5k
The one you're thinking of is the 1993 Williams Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure. Creme de La creme, but 11k+!
@drtod1000@washghost1 Nothing was weight balance issue. The car didn't really drive up a jump and more ran into a large curb. You can see the front wheels full compressed and the middle of the truck bottomed out on the berm. No amount of extra weight in the back would have saved this.
@MisterAddons Yeah, solve the housing crisis by building homes on land in the middle of nowhere. Making homes for away isn't going to decrease the homes near you and where you want to live.
@owlnonymous A fun one and really underrated for the price you can find them at. The hut bombing pop bumpers, helicopter toilet spin, second set of flipper buttons for missiles and a multiball!
@Retrogamebrews Hopefully under $1000. The LCD is a downgrade. But take a look at the chips you can add which give you Pac-Man, Ms Pac-Man and both with speed hack options from high score saves, runs about $140.
@ScarletSprites I just laugh when people thing arcade cabinets are $5000. Someone at my work said they knew someone with one and thought that price was to license all the games they had on it 😂
@ScarletSprites@stgenerations Only the Kong book is public domain. Stern said it was a "reimagine" so I'd guess it's taking the general book story and telling their own without the need to pay for a license.
In a way, this is an "original" title using a public domain IP. They can't use any movie clips.
@dnk900@sternpinball They did a Tron Legacy game already, but rumors are that they're doing a remaster similar to Metallica to modernize the system. I'd expect them to update it with the new movie(s) and Area NIN soundtrack with the original Daft Punk soundtrack from Legacy
@ScarletSprites@sternpinball They kind of do with Tron with Daft Punk music. Rumors of a Tron Remaster which would likely include Tron: Ares and have a NIN soundtrack.
@usa_retro I feel a way around it is to drop your trash one time at a time in the bin and just wait for someone to stop by with some TVs and ask them before they dump them.
