Dame Penelope Keith gave one of her last, and most personal, interviews on Rosebud last year. Here she is chatting to Gyles and his dear departed cat, Nala. We were honoured that she came to talk to us, and shared so much. What a great talent, and a wonderful person.
Today is retirement day. My last motorcycle ride to my job of 36 years:
Zero accidents. One speeding ticket. 5 or 6 warnings.
I have a bunch of hobbies awaiting me, but I will start with a hip replacement scheduled for next week. It’s time to enjoy life!
Plug and play.
Yes, of course, I know what I’m doing. That’s what the packing tape is for. I think the kettle plugs in here. It’s got some ‘subwoofer’ plugs too, but I don’t see us doing clubbing anytime soon, so I’ll leave them out. Besides it’s mainly for the reverse camera 👍.
i genuinely hope that if i ever develop whatever mental disorder results in creating a fucking “zero to NOC” bootcamp, my coworkers find me in the parking lot & beat the shit out of me
Since my episodes on #ClarksonsFarm have aired, I’ve had a lot of love and I’m thrilled that #birds have reached a whole new audience. And to all the haters, unfortunately for you, wild horses couldn’t drag me away.
Dame Penelope Keith has sadly passed away.
This stairway sketch from the 1977 Morecambe & Wise Christmas Special is still one of the funniest things ever shown on TV. You can see all three trying (and failing) to keep it together. An absolute classic.
