I used to volunteer in a classroom that had a progressive approach to learning. Students would complete hands-on labs to further understand learning objectives. Pictured here are students learning about pH levels through testing the pH of different substances. #Educ300 #05sp2020

@BeccaKassel We discussed how the Matthew Effects plays a role in funding teachers. High-poverty schools may struggle with being able to hire/pay experienced teachers with higher degrees, while low-poverty districts may not face that same issue, thus affecting the student. #EDUC300 #05Sp2020

@_MorrisE By giving students choice and the freedom of where they sit, this classroom has given students psychological safety. I could also see this being a way to keep students dependable if flexible seating was used as a privilege for those w/ good behavior. #EDUC300 #05Sp2020
