After 2 drivers cancel or it’s taken 10 minutes to match you to a driver @uber and @lyft really should just require the next closest available drive to accept your ride. I shouldn’t have to sit through 4+ drivers accepting my ride and then cancel it. I’m just trying to get home.
I sometimes use @lyft or @Uber to get to campus and it’s normally $12-17. But in the past two weeks prices have skyrocketed. Why is @AskLyft over $50 and @Uber_Support over $20? Like I can kind of understand $20 but $50 is insane. And drivers cancel as soon as they are assigned.
So none of the @Starbucks within a 4 mile radius of me have any hot coffee or cold coffee drinks according to the @UberEats app… like I checked 5 different stores… they all out of coffee? Seems unlikely… Someone help. @Uber_Support
. @Uber_Support@Uber if we get charged for canceling on drivers then we should get a credit when they cancel on us. I just had 4 drivers cancel on me. Some drove towards me for 5+ minutes before canceling. They wasted me time.
Clarence Thomas writes, in a concurring opinion, that the Supreme Court should reconsider Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell — the rulings that now protect contraception, same-sex relationships, and same-sex marriage.

Last night, a younger patient arrived with abdominal pain, chest pain, and shortness of breath. While assessing, the patient began to appear more and more pale with each moment. "I tested + with two at home tested, but I have an IUD." VS=HR 150 BP 80/40

Three weeks ago, I had a miscarriage. I was six weeks pregnant. I live in Texas, a state that has effectively banned abortions.
A thread about what it is to cease to be pregnant in a state where abortions are banned:
Before graduate school, I was super active and in the best shape of my life. As I progressed, I bought into the notion that being productive = "butt in chair." I slowly became sedentary as I leaned into a "booked and busy" academic identity. My body and health paid the price.
Dear PhD programs that pay $20-30k/yr & force students to sign docs that they "won't work a 2nd job": Everyone works a 2nd job anyways. If you don't want us working 2nd jobs just...oh IDK...pay us enough? Grad schools are so out of touch with reality JS @PhDVoice@AcademicChatter
