NIDM organized a three-day national training programme aimed at strengthening institutional capacities and promoting integrated flood resilience from 07–09 April 2025, NIDM, Rohini Campus, New Delhi.

The inaugural session was graced by 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 @rratnoo, 𝗜𝗔𝗦, (𝗘𝗗, 𝗡𝗜𝗗𝗠); 𝗗𝗿. 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗞𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘂, 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, @NIUA_India; 𝗗𝗿. 𝗩. 𝗞. 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹, 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, 𝗦𝗣𝗔 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗵𝗶, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗮, 𝗦𝗿. 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿, 𝗡𝗜𝗗𝗠, who shared strategic perspectives on sustainable urban planning.

Sessions were led by experts, including Dr. @Geo_Gagan, Dr. Garima Aggarwal, Shri Amarjeet Kumar, Dr. Prerna Joshi, and Shri Shekher Chaturvedi (NIDM); Thiru A. Anbarasu (Secon Pvt. Ltd.); @dhyansarya (@iitroorkee) & Dr. Mohit P. Mohanty; Shri Nikol & Shri Suneet Bansal (@CWCOfficial_GoI); Dr. Victor R. Shinde & Dr. Mandvi Misra (@NIUA_India); and Antony Joh Moothedan (@UNDP_India).

The valedictory session was graced by 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. @surya_parkash (𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝗚𝗠𝗥𝗗, 𝗖𝗕𝗥𝗡, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗡𝗜𝗗𝗠) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗶 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗻 (𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝗥𝗜𝗗, 𝗡𝗜𝗗𝗠). This comprehensive training engaged 55 participants representing 22 states and UTs of India from key government departments, municipal bodies, urban planning agencies, PWD, Irrigation, ULBs, SDRF/NDRF.
