@russd70@WaterAidUK@easparrow Well spotted typo! We've been listening to our own message so much - meant to read Africa is not a country, which many students make the error of assuming! Thanks for pointing out! ๐ง
We also welcomed @easparrow who explained about the work that @WaterAidUK do in low income developing countries, as part of our theme this term 'Africa is not a continent'. Thank you so much; we loved hearing about all the projects that really make a difference in people's lives.
Great to join Year 9 geography students @WimbledonHigh today on their Africa day to talk clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene for everyone, everywhere.
Year 9 had a great day yesterday @WimbledonHigh learning all about how to respond to natural disasters, such as the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Thanks to the @bcsweb for putting on such a fab workshop! #geography
@Londonmapper Hello - we are trying to access your site for a lesson with Y7 this morning but it appears to be down... is this a temporary hitch or likely to last at least all day?

We've been having a great time up @BlencathraFSC. Yesterday we visited Easedale Tarn, and today we were in Borrowdale. Lots of glacial features to explore ๐๏ธ๐บ๏ธ #geography#fun#werenottired
Serrena also led today's Geog On! sixth form club as she presented to us on her trip to Sri Lanka and considered the importance of the natural and human environment she experienced.
Serrena in Year 11 discusses the @Geography_WHS and struggles of Sri Lanka that she learnt about and witnessed when she was on a school trip there this summer. https://t.co/ckB0cB8IoX #WimLearn#TeachingandLearning
Will be sad to say a final farewell to our incredible Y13 @Geography_WHS later at Speech Day. We had a great evening celebrating with them and their parents last week at @Sixth_WHS Garden Party. Keep in touch! #geographers#legends
The Compass is launching it's first ever competition for Sixth Form Students!

@GeoBlogs @RTPIPlanners @OCR_Geography@WimbledonHigh We made an introductory ppt and then set them playing. Spent about 50 mins into total inc intro, play and discussion at the end.
Y12 @Geography_WHS had great fun this morning playing the @RTPIPlanners game "Placemakers and Placemaking" as part of their @OCR_Geography A level course! Brilliant to see them all adopting the various roles with good understanding of the stakeholders' views. @WimbledonHigh
