Remember when Dan Quayle misspelled “potato” one time and the entire country was like “well this man is clearly unfit to hold public office”?
I find myself thinking about that a lot these days...
@DudleyNYC@TimChapman People aren’t ready for the conversation about how much more comfortable the coalition factions would be if both populist wings were in one party and both institutional/mainstream sides of the aisle allied in the other.
Thank You @mialove for this timeless and inspiring message to America. Your life has mattered immensely and your example continues to inspire. God Bless You and your family. Our admiration for you is boundless and our prayers are with you.🙏 https://t.co/ygCAKDBouJ
Imagine being such a desperate, feckless human so thirsty for subscribers and attention you conclude hatred of Tate is because he “hurts feelings” and not the sex trafficking, abuse of women, grooming of minors, and allegations of rape, just to name a few.
@3YearLetterman My varsity baseball coach cut me *while* I was dating his daughter because I’d torn my rotator cuff that fall during swim season.
Was always pleasant to me off the field though and afterward would occasionally comment that it was a shame he couldn’t have made me into a pitcher 🙃
We do not appreciate Jim Abbott enough as one of the truly great Americans of all time:
1. Born without a hand
2. Starting pitcher in the MLB for a decade
3. Once finished 3rd in Cy Young voting
4. Threw a no hitter
5. Made over $13 million
6. Got two hits in 21 plate appearances as a batter!
I have two functioning hands and my JV baseball coach told me he hated me
Yep. 2025 MAGA has basically become the left of the 1990s.
- Anti-free trade
- Anti-free markets
- Anti-strong American foreign policy
- Indifferent to social conservatism
- Pro government power
And that's OK. Parties can and do change.
But stop acting like we "traditional Republicans" are the ones who changed, or are "finally showing our true stripes."
There's a reason why MAGA hates every single Republican nominee for Vice President and President from 2000 to 2024, except maybe Sarah Palin, and of course President Trump.
George W. Bush
Dick Cheney
John McCain
Mitt Romney
Paul Ryan
Mike Pence
@RJ5400@NZJamesS@DanielJHannan Do YOU understand trade deficits?!
You have a deficit with your grocery store (you always give them $ for goods, but never the other way around), it doesn’t mean you aren’t better for it.
Tariffs & protectionism are cronyism on behalf of favored industries & regions
