I'm wishing Israeli New Yorkers and all those celebrating here and abroad a happy Yom Ha’atzmaut!
Today we recognize Israel’s independence and affirm New York’s special bond with the Israeli people as the city that is home to the world’s second largest Jewish population.
The targeted killing of two Israeli embassy staff in DC is horrifying. My heart goes out to their loved ones and the Jewish community.
I hope the person who committed this act of antisemitic violence is swiftly held accountable. Hate has no place here, in DC, or anywhere.

Why does @Walgreens continue to employ Mohammed Ahmed Teka, who openly celebrates the 10/7 massacre and supports terror groups like Hamas?

NEVER FORGET PAUL KESSLER.
BRUTALLY MURDERED IN THE STREETS OF LOS ANGELES BY AN ISLAMIST FOR BEING A PROUD JEW.
They want us silent. They want us afraid. But we will NEVER back down.
Can you point me to your previous full-page ad condemning the 10/7 massacre and calling for Hamas to release the hostages and surrender? Because if that doesn't exist, no one wants to hear what you have to say about Gaza.
Cleveland, OH: Aalaa Omar Mohammad, an LPN nurse, compares a Jewish PM to Hitler, refers to the world’s only Jewish state as terrorists, & calls Zionists (over 95% of Jews globally) rapists.
She also thinks Hamas is a resistance group.
Imagine being a Jewish patient of hers?
What is your definition of love? ❤️❤️🩹
At Save a Child’s Heart in Israel, love means saving lives. It means doctors giving life-saving heart surgeries to children from all around the world—kids from countries where this care doesn’t exist. It means Israelis opening their hearts to children of all races, religions, and backgrounds, simply because every child deserves a future.
I am so honored I got to visit this incredible place and meet these amazing kids who came to Israel for a second chance at life. Their laughter is proof that love isn’t about politics or borders. It’s about humanity.
This is the REAL Israel the world needs to see. This is love in its purest form❤️❤️🩹#SaveAChildsHeart #ValentinesDay #Love #heart #children
This is Nitai Metodi, an Israeli Hero 🇮🇱
On October 7th, he was on vacation in Australia, but as soon as he heard what was going on, he took the first flight back to Israel to defend the homeland.
After months of bravely fighting in Gaza, he fell in battle.
Remember his name.
This young girl lost her dad on October 7th, and she came to sing a song at his grave. There are so many children who lost their parents on this horrific day. So many orphans. So many broken hearts. We must not forget the victims.
Elon Musk: "I grew up around a lot of Jewish people, I went to Hebrew preschool -- my name is pretty Jewish."
"I went to Israel when I was 13 -- most of my friends are Jewish.
🎗️There are hostages whose names and stories remain largely unheard.
Rom Bresslavsky may be less known, but it is crucial for us to recognize his story: Rom was abducted to Gaza because he chose not to flee for his life but to attempt to save others at a party in Nova.
He worked at the event and insisted on staying, even under fire, to rescue those in danger.
Despite being shot in both hands, he continued to help individuals he did not even know.
Many young women have told his family that they owe their lives to Rom.
He dreamed of becoming a DJ and traveling the world.
His family describes him as an optimistic and cheerful young man who loved to assist everyone, a trait that defined his life and ultimately led to his abduction while helping others.
The young man who saved others at the party now needs the state to save him.
The return of Rom and all others is eagerly awaited.
The leadership of @Columbia University should be fired and the board should be ashamed of themselves.
How does @Columbia allow this to continue? Perhaps the institution can only wake up when it loses its Federal funding and millions in litigation.
A sad denouement to a once great institution.
