I learned a good word today.
Axiom.
The word refers to an idea that is generally assumed to be true.
The idea that sexual function returns to baseline when you quit an SSRI is therefore an 'axiom'. It's assumed to be true, despite the absence of any actual evidence.
@TheRealTMar@mcglonerm@OperaSocialist Did you know that Japan's population is about 97% ethnic Japanese and that they have largely rejected foreigners?
Would you describe the Japanese to be lacking in 'cognitive development' and 'poorly educated'?
@LaRae3862 @WaffleNort44967 @OperaSocialist Your viewpoint is emblematic of a complacent and lazy culture that hasn't needed to defend itself for a few decades.
Notice how nationalistic Ukraine is. Or palestine. Or anywhere that is actually threatened from external forces.
@Andygreenhalg11@LaRae3862@OperaSocialist We have been handed an incredible nation that we are supposed to be the custodians of. Yet to lefties, this duty is embarrassing and shameful.
We would like thank the MP for Romford @AndrewRosindell for requesting a debate on harms caused by antidepressants, including Post-SSRI Sexual Dysfunction (PSSD), in the UK's House of Commons on February 6th. @LucyMPowell responded that she thought it would a good debate topic.
@seanpoulter@Enoch1912@implausibleblog The right generally doesn't care about people emigrating away from the UK.
It's about those coming in (the part we can control).
@JackHarryHeaton@RupertLowe10 Jack, you're trying to adopt a moral position here, but there is nothing moral in trashing our country by importing endless numbers of alien peoples who can't or won't assimilate.
@Francesforbesca@Shrink_at_Large I think her role is to expose flaws within current understanding of ADs, rather than to provide the next big solution.
