* Part of Gokhale bridge collapsed in July 2018.
* Work order was issued for BMC portion in March 2020 ( after a delay of almost 2 yrs).
* After work order issued in March 2020, work actually started in Nov 2021 ( a delay of 18 months). Was state govt and BMC sleeping?
* In Mid 2021, it was decided that BMC will only work in railway portion but failed to come out with tender till Nov 2022 when bridge was actually closed after the consultants report of the bridge being very dangerous came to the fore. Was BMC and state govt sleeping?
* After the bridge was closed in Nov 2022, due to intervention of CM Shri @mieknathshinde Ji, Dy CM Shri @Dev_Fadnavis Ji & Guardian Minister Shri @MPLodha Ji ,BMC came out with tender for demolition as well as construction of new bridge and work order was given and we will complete one lane in Nov 2023 and 2nd lane by May 2024. This will be one of the fastest executed major projects same BMC has done which earlier delayed and complicated things. Leadership matters!
* Today CM Shri Eknath Shinde himself came on site on ground, took review and inspected the work. He has also inspected nalla cleaning in Mumbai personally.
This is a govt which means business and both CM and Dy CM are on ground, live, not virtual or online!

It's nt feasible 2 keep bridge closed fr longer time. There r technologies available where pre cast material is used which is later assembled. Same has been done in China as well as Valsad. I call fr a global tender to rebuild Gokhale bridge in record timeline. @IqbalSinghChah2

Why can't we see, which government department has conveyed this message?
Why the time frame is not mentioned on the hoarding?
Why so lacking & incomplete details provided to citizens?
