@haileywburns Hi Hailey, great job on your digitial portfolio! I love the overall design and you have a very impressive resume. I especially like how you picked a client that you are passionate about and consume in your daily life - what a great thing to add to your portfolio. #APR542
@JessikaWhite Hi Jessika, I love that you focused on Penguin Random House as your client - I would have never thought to focus on a book publishing company. In fact, I don't think I have ever seen content produced by this type of company. Time to go searching, I guess! Great job! #APR542
Just like that another semester comes to an end...It has been a great summer getting to know everyone and I look forward to see everyone's digital portfolios. I hope you enjoy looking through my portfolio as well😊 Best of luck to all of #APR542 https://t.co/Q8i5MjBXlq
ABC News shared a story about a Central Texas town experiencing short water supply. The news release had several links and quotes which add interest. I think the article could be improved by including a statistical graphic to emphasize the seriousness of the situation. #APR542
A tiny cattle and ranching town nestled in Central Texas is experiencing water supply woes so severe that it recently only had about a day's worth of water left. https://t.co/MIn1uTdgTF
@BrockParkerAPR Hi Brock, cool article! I agree, Chipotle did a great job structuring this news release; I was able to quickly grasp what it is about and how the new robot works. It will be interesting to see how this robot system works out for the company. #APR542
@beodom1 Hi Brianna, this is a good example of a news release, but I agree it could use links. I do wonder though if not including links was part of @Apple ‘s strategy. If I remember correctly, the goal is to have people make purchases in store because of the experience factor. #APR542
3 Best practices for curating content:
1. Be resourceful - depending on the company, the content library could be limited.
2. Try new things every once in awhile.
3. Don’t be afraid to ask your audience what they want. After all, that’s who matters!

@BrockParkerAPR Hi Brock, I like your first point you make. I think balance is incredibly important but I’ve never thought about it in this format. I think this goes to show that balance looks different for everyone which is what is great about social media. Thanks for sharing! #APR542
@Arianna_APR Hi Arianna, great points! I think the first practice you have listed is super important. With how fast social media channels change, research is absolutely necessary. Researching platform updates also helps marketers keep up with their audiences. #APR542
@erinjeter_@FreePeople@BamaAPR Hi Erin, I think Free People was smart to do a video like this at one of the Eras Tour locations. This tour has been all about fashion and primarily attended by females - a perfect combination for Free People. Also, FP was able to bring fun and humor into it. #APR542
@BrockParkerAPR@BamaAPR Hi Brock, I thought this video was hilarious and I was able to learn who the Tennessee Titans are playing this season. The Titans did a great job with this video, combining its season schedule, humor and a popular trend. #APR542
@ArchDigest uses video as content frequently across multiple channels. I think it is a great way to grab viewers attention and give them a better feel it as a brand. These videos have become popular on TikTok as well - I always enjoy watching them! @BamaAPR#APR542
There's a 30% chance that we're already in love with Amanda Seyfried's NYC apartment.

@LillyBstudent Hi Lilly, I believe this aspect of AI technology should be a big concern for people. The spread of false information is already an issue and has had grave effects on society. How do we work to prevent the spread of misinformation or is it inevitable? #APR542
@erinjeter_ Hi Erin, I completely agree! The article I found mentions an AI robot influencer that has 3 million followers. A robot influencer seems fake and untrustworthy to me, but it also makes me wonder what that means for human influencers. Should this be a concern for them? #APR542
AI technology is used on social media in many ways, from monitoring abusive comments to recommending content. There are even AI influencers like Lil Miquela, a 19-year-old robot with 3 million followers. How do you feel about AI influencers? #APR542 https://t.co/iRDvXo1KNM
The most beneficial thing in this course for me has been the SWOT analysis. I researched the company I was recently hired at since it’s a small one. Through this assignment, I was able to get new ideas for the company and pinpoint where we can improve. #APR542
@LillyBstudent #APR542 Lilly, I completely agree! I find that when professors allow students to pick the company for an assignment similar to the SWOT analysis, I gain more out of it. I know for this one in particular I learned a lot and enjoyed writing the analysis. Thanks for sharing!
@GabyCaruso54#APR542 Hi Gabby, I agree, I never realized how important blogs are to companies either before now. I once did a project on blogs as intern and found that any retailers have them. Blogs are a great tool but require a lot of work, at least in my experience. Thanks for sharing!
@LillyBstudent @RenttheRunway#APR542 Hi, Lilly! This is a great example of an influencer campaign. @RenttheRunway was smart to partner with Park since she is commonly know for her fashion savvy role in Emily in Paris. It is obvious that they were thoughtful with this choosing. Great find!
@Arianna_APR#APR542 Hi, Arianna! This is an interesting camping with some mixed opinions based on the comments. I’m not familiar with it, but it seems as if James tried to trademark the slogan once making it ironic that TB would partner with him. Otherwise, great find!
