Give me one reason why data centers are needed ? The most important principle of the USA constitution is to limit the power of government to prevent tyranny . AI and flock cameras give the govt a tool to become way too powerful and tyrannical . Republicans use to care about this . Now with their push for increased AI and data centers they are becoming worse than the democrats . We want limited government, lower taxes, more personal freedom. Tell me how AI and data centers create that ? I will be voting for whomever imposes the strictest regulations on AI and its uses

Canada is the second largest country in the world behind Russia in regard to landmass. Canada decided to give up their last aircraft carrier and defund their military . Canada is one of the most resource rich countries on earth and the only thing protecting those assets is the USA military . I have no idea how any Canadians can reasonably think their current situation is sustainable long term . If canada builds up their military to be more independent they will need to give up substantial public benefits

@SunSurfSalt @ExnerPirot Why ? because the USA military protects Canada ! Without the USA military Canada would not exist . Canada decided to give up their only aircraft carrier and cut military funding so they can support their socialist programs . Now they can’t defend themselves.
