@sandyinsomerset @DiabeticDadUK I was diagnosed at 16 in 1985. Not only was it a dreadful age for diagnosis with no tech (or even blood testing) the targets totally overwhelmed me and destroyed my mental health 😞 Can’t help but feel years of disengagement after could’ve been avoided.
@kerryleelondon@nicolefallonNY @StaceyT38 @DiabeticDadUK@Paulalondonnews I understand mobile phones are a problem. Unfortunately the devices you are talking about have been discontinued. If they remain on silent and just click on the app it shouldn’t be a problem.
@MaskewK @On_The_News_Ltd @Bloo222H@Paulalondonnews That’s just what I was about to say. They discontinued because people use apps now on mobile phones. It’s saves nhs money. Fair enough 😊
"Well done. You managed to shoot a stationery, 14 foot peaceful creature with a high velocity rifle. Very sporting!" ~ @RickyGervais.
RT if you want a GLOBAL ban on #TrophyHunting.
@romankemp@romankemp as a teacher of 30 years I totally agree. Early intervention and access to meaningful support is absolutely essential for children and adults. Thank you for putting your voice to the campaign 👍🏻
@Matt00158538@DiabeticDadUK It’s awful really. A stay in hospital with Type 1 could easily go badly wrong if you aren’t able to look after yourself 😞 I often wonder how many serious issues occur due to lack of training 😞
@Matt00158538@DiabeticDadUK Oooh this brings back memories of only time in DKA in 38 years in hospital. Yelled so much someone finally listened. Sliding scale, young doc getting stressed trying to put in 2nd cannula, I asked why, he said one for insulin one for glucose 😩
