@CSI_Starbase It’s actually not fast for a mostly clear corridor. Most utilities along TX 4 are parallel. If there were lots of crossings it’s a different ballgame. If direct bury, I’m guessing 4 crews working different sections simultaneously.
@CaptMarkKelly Most Americans want the SAVE Act passed, even most Democrats.
Stop making excuses Senator. You are on the wrong side of this debate. I watched you stay seated during the SOTU. You just want it to be easier for illegals to vote for you.
Destin, don’t tell me you’re talking about New Balance 623. Is been wearing those shoes religiously for close to 20 years. Sure, I wore “old white man” shoes in my 20’s. Never had any foot or back pain. Now they’re discontinued and I can’t find anything the matches that perfect fit.
@DirtyTesLa Been thinking this for YEARS. The #1 advantage of cameras over Lidar is that cameras & OCR can pick up writing on a flat sign panel. LiDAR just sees the flat panel.
Maybe Lidar will get good enough to discern how many bolts hold the panel in place, but that’s helpful to no one.
@itskyleconner@AllianceRv NOT every RV. Just every mainstream RV…
I would suggest looking at higher end, lower throughput manufacturers: DRV, Luxe, New Horizons and SpaceCraft to name a few…
@SawyerMerritt And in order to prevent further congestion, they had all Waymo’s stop instead of being recalled to the garage. Because having tow trucks remove double parked Waymos from the streets further reduces congestion.
@SawyerMerritt Let me get this straight… Waymo’s are programmed to treat dark signals as 4-way stops but occasionally need to call home to confirm this is still appropriate? When is it not appropriate? In most states it’s the law!
@EricForgy@chamath Don’t confuse radar and Lidar. They use vastly different wavelengths of electromagnetic (light) spectrum. One can see through fog (radar) and one cannot (Lidar).
@engineers_feed I was in the crowd in front of the Enterprise & SCA in 1985. As part of the Civil Air Patrol in 1995, we got to tour the storage hanger that had the Enterprise and Blackbird before the Udvar-Hazy Center was built.
And Houston wants to steal the Shuttle…
@MikeMcA8@ICannot_Enough@elonmusk@SawyerMerritt@Tesla No, its not missing the point. Humans have two eyes that provide binocular vision (depth perception), but only for about 170° field of view. Multi camera systems provide multi-ocular vision. Still provides depth perception with the added benefit of 360° coverage.
@SteaknShake Follow Follow @marcuslemonis and @CampingWorld lead! Push the boundaries by installing the tallest poles and largest flags available, damned local ordinances.
Patriotism should never be suppressed!
AOC called Charlie Kirk’s rhetoric ignorant, while making an ignorant statement.
She also misrepresented what Charlie said about the Civil Rights Act.
We can’t keep doing this - it’s putting people in danger.
@thatsKAIZEN A lot of people forget that the Bill of Rights only restrict the actions of the government. Private corporations are free to enact policies that limit an employee’s speech.
