Destin, don’t tell me you’re talking about New Balance 623. Is been wearing those shoes religiously for close to 20 years. Sure, I wore “old white man” shoes in my 20’s. Never had any foot or back pain. Now they’re discontinued and I can’t find anything the matches that perfect fit.

@DirtyTesLa Been thinking this for YEARS. The #1 advantage of cameras over Lidar is that cameras & OCR can pick up writing on a flat sign panel. LiDAR just sees the flat panel.

Maybe Lidar will get good enough to discern how many bolts hold the panel in place, but that’s helpful to no one.

@EricForgy @chamath Don’t confuse radar and Lidar. They use vastly different wavelengths of electromagnetic (light) spectrum. One can see through fog (radar) and one cannot (Lidar).

Multi camera systems provide multi-ocular vision. Still provides depth perception with the added benefit of 360° coverage.
