The Department of State's quarterly report of the Afghan Special Immigrant Visa Program is out. We saw a significant increase in the number of visas issued. While remarkable progress continues to be made, processing times remain one of the greatest areas for improvement.

We have several SIV cases where our Afghan allies have been waiting for COM approval for 2-3 years.We urge the @StateDept to reform the COM approval process to prevent further loss of Afghan lives while they wait for the U.S to fulfill its promises.
