@Tripadvisor@TripAdvisorInd And this is exactly why the property doesn't have any negative reviews despite having obvious flaws. Even the edit review option doesn't work - so the form itself is meaningless. This is such a scam for user who trust the TripAdvisor platform.
Agency > Intelligence
I had this intuitively wrong for decades, I think due to a pervasive cultural veneration of intelligence, various entertainment/media, obsession with IQ etc. Agency is significantly more powerful and significantly more scarce. Are you hiring for agency? Are we educating for agency? Are you acting as if you had 10X agency?
Grok explanation is ~close:
“Agency, as a personality trait, refers to an individual's capacity to take initiative, make decisions, and exert control over their actions and environment. It’s about being proactive rather than reactive—someone with high agency doesn’t just let life happen to them; they shape it. Think of it as a blend of self-efficacy, determination, and a sense of ownership over one’s path.
People with strong agency tend to set goals and pursue them with confidence, even in the face of obstacles. They’re the type to say, “I’ll figure it out,” and then actually do it. On the flip side, someone low in agency might feel more like a passenger in their own life, waiting for external forces—like luck, other people, or circumstances—to dictate what happens next.
It’s not quite the same as assertiveness or ambition, though it can overlap. Agency is quieter, more internal—it’s the belief that you *can* act, paired with the will to follow through. Psychologists often tie it to concepts like locus of control: high-agency folks lean toward an internal locus, feeling they steer their fate, while low-agency folks might lean external, seeing life as something that happens *to* them.”
@bigbasket_com@harimenon_bb And the chat flow is great too. No option for reporting a delivery related issue or to add a fresh thread. So theek hain I'm waiting. Been a long and regular BB customer, will wait.
@bigbasket_com@harimenon_bb And belonged to 2 other houses, both of whom had to change their locks promptly. So an issue spread across 4 households and a glaring security issue. And BigBasket will get back when they have the time?

Today's @FinMinIndia update signals the Government's proactive move to regulate virtual digital assets under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, providing clarity and emphasizing the commitment to curb potential criminal misuse.
While global trends show diverse approaches to virtual asset regulation, India aligns with international standards, addressing challenges tied to the speed and anonymity of virtual assets trading.
Emphasizing compliance to PMLA is vital for the safety and financial integrity of Indians, as dealing with non-registered platforms exposes citizens to nefarious actors, putting their finances at risk. @CoinDCX , the first in India registered with FIU-India, takes this responsibility seriously.
It's encouraging to witness the Government initiating actions against non-compliant offshore entities. Our commitment is unwavering – we adhere to regulatory standards, contribute to a secure environment, and foster a responsible crypto landscape in India.
India has become a global hub for Virtual Digital Asset (VDA) adoption, reflecting the nation's enthusiasm for blockchain technology and its transformative potential. According to @chainalysis ' 2023 crypto adoption index, India leads the way in grassroots crypto acceptance on a global scale.
However, this surge in adoption brings with it certain challenges, particularly for investors navigating the dynamic landscape of Virtual Digital Assets. Every global or local centralized exchange, despite its user-friendly interface and simplified trading processes, presents potential risks that users must be aware of and actively address.
Our Head of Compliance, @rohanbhandari, @CoinDCX shares insights with The Economic Times in his recent article that sheds light on the importance of choosing the right Virtual Digital Asset exchange, emphasizing the need for investors to exercise caution and select platforms that prioritize security and compliance.

CZ's decision to step down from Binance is EXTREMELY beneficial for the industry, and the potential for everyone's crypto portfolio to multiply by 10x is now a real possibility with this development.
First and foremost, I want to emphasize my admiration for @cz_binance. He is a hero, and it's undeniable that without him, the crypto industry would not have reached its current scale.
While working on mass adoption of Crypto I have come across this statement 100 times -“Crypt is good but we can’t touch Crypto and web3 because our compliance and legal team do not allow us”This recurring sentiment highlights the prevailing perception that crypto is non-compliant within the entire web2 world.
Achieving mass adoption becomes an uphill battle if this perception persists.Recent developments deliver a resounding message to the entire crypto industry: compliance is now a top priority. This signals a significant shift, indicating that while the technology has matured, the obstacles are gradually being overcome.
This improvement enhances the likelihood of receiving approval for ETFs, provides clearer directives to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing, and marks another breakthrough for the industry.
This development alone has the potential to grow our industry by 10x. Now is the time for web3 to extend its reach and eventually encompass the entirety of web2.
It's a pivotal moment for us to concentrate on creating solutions that are widely acceptable and to explore more use cases.
Binance just stepped into the Web3 Wallet arena, and I say "Congrats!" 🙌 Let's see who takes the lead in adding more cool features in the next 6 months. 🏁
Here is a comparison between Okto and Binance wallet as it stands today.
1. Security:
- Both Okto and Binance use MPC technology. Binance stores your key on iCloud encrypted by a password you provide. If you forget that password, bye bye funds. With Okto, forgetting your password is not a nightmare.
2. Custody Insurance:
- bummer - neither Okto nor Binance has insurance right now. Not ideal.
3. Chains:
- Binance takes the lead with 30 chains, while Okto has 10 major ones. But no hard feelings about this one.
4. PnL Feature:
- Binance is missing out on the PnL, Okto is rocking a full-fledged Profit and Loss feature at your fingertips.
5. Gas Station and Gasless Transactions:
- Binance has no gas station, On Okto, You don't need gas fees in your native token, except for the ETH chain. Your funds won't be stuck just because you're out of gas.
6. Bridges:
- Okto and Binance are neck and neck in the bridge race.
7. Dapp Integrations:
- Okto takes the lead again with 21 Dapps natively integrated, while Binance has 8. It's like having more apps on your phone!
8. On-ramp:
- Binance has no on-ramp at the moment (you can use P2P, but I won't recommend that adventure). Meanwhile, Okto seamlessly integrates with 3 on-ramp players. Easy peasy!
Let the feature race begin! 🏎️💨
