Usually I don't get.. but this "Naukari Chhod Do".. Is way too irritating.. as similar to Pakistan chale jaao..
If I will have a prob where I exist.. I will try to fix it.. rather than running away..
Aur kyun chhod de Naukari koi? Bheekh me mili thi? Mehnat se paayi hai.
Talked to friends and relatives working in different fields. Most are taking a long weekend trip since tomorrow is 2nd October followed by Saturday and Sunday. General insurance friends, IT friends, LIC relatives.
Meanwhile, I’ll be visiting a business unit 140 km away on Saturday for sanctioning of a fresh loan.
Kyonki farzi union leaders ne last Sunday ko bankers ka trust bech diya. 🫣 #5DaysBankingNow
Remember, bankers clear IBPS, in which the selection rate is less than 1%. So, the other 99% will have that regret of not clearing it and will carry it throughout their lives.
In some cases, they will create a handle like @worlds_affairs to show that frustration of not clearing it.
Log sochte hain bank strike sirf Saturday band karne ki ladai hai.
Asli roz ka scene ye hai:
Staff kam, kaam pahaad. PSB mein customer-to-staff ratio kai jagah 2000:1 tak hai. Retirement ho raha hai, bharti nahi. Ek counter pe cash, KYC, Jan Dhan, Mudra, insurance, UPI activation, complaint, sab ek saath.
Roz ke target sirf banking nahi hote. Itne SB account, itni insurance, car loan, housing loan, net banking, ATM card — list Monday ko aati hai, Saturday tak review. Na mila to memo, humiliation, late-night WhatsApp.
System down ho to bheed gusse mein staff pe toot padti hai. Galti ho to audit ka dar. Kabhi-kabhi gaali, dhamki, maarpeet bhi.
Subah 9:45, raat 9. Lunch optional. Chhutti par bhi senior ka call. Upar se election, census, non-banking duty.
Saturday sirf dikhne wala last straw hai. Andar se branch pehle se hi pressure cooker hai.

I challenge the Indian Government and the internet's armchair economists to privatize Public Sector Banks (PSBs) and try surviving for just 6 months. The demand for privatization exposes a low IQ and a complete disconnect from the real India.
You clearly haven't seen the real India. I’ve been to remote areas where a single PSB operates in a 20-30 km radius, serving 75-76 villages alone. It is the absolute only financial lifeline for fishermen, daily wage laborers, and villagers making a living on the margins.
These banks are keeping people alive through zero-balance accounts. These rural branches run on a bare minimum skeleton crew—often just one officer and one cashier managing the entire workload for thousands. Profit-driven private banks would never survive or care to operate here.
The Branch Manager's day is entirely consumed by distributing Self-Help Group (SHG) loans and traveling for rural recovery visits. But this is what happens when cheap internet gives a voice to people who blindly defend just one political party's agendas without understanding the ground reality.
PSBs are the only thing keeping rural India financially afloat. Remove them, and the country halts. So ask yourself before cheering for this disaster: Do you really think Indira Gandhi was a fool to nationalize the banks in the first place?
Working Sunday.
अगर कर्मचारियों की आवाज़ सुनना कठिन है, तो कम से कम उनकी थकान समझिए।

Big Private Banks aren't on Strike, Still they called employees on Sunday, shows the level of Toxic Work Culture in Banking Sector. Pvt Bankers are most exploited ones. #BlackSunday
Meet Darshit Patel @darshitpatel84 a Mutual fund distributer. Earlier he asked Public to Break FDs and Buy shares of HDFC Bank and see its value in two year duped lot of money and maybe of his subscribers too. Now after failing his subscribers , he deleted his all post regarding advising followers to Break FDs and Buy HDFC and after failing making money in Stock market he has now joined IT Tool Kit for propagating fake narratives through his social media maybe for money or for some other favours later on.
Support , Troll or Criticising the Bankers are a different thing. But here I am showing the real face of such people so that you can Avoid such people who are the part of IT Tool kit and they can go to any extent for money. Their followership is there money making machine. Avoid them, Unfollow them for your own good.
Also the Govt has made a new low by first making the PSBs management making the AI generated content against the Bankers and Bank’s strike to run their propaganda and now the Tool Kit has been activated to run their narrative.
I request the Public and Genzs to join this campaign and write your thoughts on 5Days Work culture openly in social media , many of your parents have worked in banks and you must be aware of the hardship faced by them, many of you or your siblings will join the Bank as officers, credit officers, Law Officers and Other stream in Banks. Let us together make a better working environment in Banks .

Bankers are demanding five days work week.. and the system is still not listening. This is the story of why they must.
In memory of my dear friend, Durgesh Ranjan, 40, Branch Manager, of a PSB somewhere in Rural North India.
The last time we spoke, his voice was tired but glowing. He told me about the PMJJBY loans he had disbursed to the needy, how the villagers treated him like their own elder, how he called his job his life's purpose.
"Through this chair, this stamp, these papers, I get to do good for society," he said. He meant every word. He always did.
On the night of 24th September, Durgesh was found dead in his car on the Lucknow–Varanasi highway. Police recovered a letter he left behind.
The letter said: "I am ending my life myself. No one should be blamed for this. I apologise to everyone."
Even in his final moments, he was apologising. The kindest people always do.
His wife, told police he had been under stress for about a week. One week of visible stress, and behind it, years of invisible weight. A branch manager's chair in a PSB today carries impossible targets, endless audits, relentless calls, seven days of duty disguised as a job.
Durgesh never complained. Not once. He carried it all quietly, completely, alone.
He didn't fall because he was weak. He fell because he was asked to be strong every single day, without rest, without pause, without anyone saying: "Enough. Go home. Live your life."
A five-day work week is not a luxury. It is not laziness. It is not entitlement.
It is oxygen. The villagers didn't respect Durgesh because he worked seven days. They respected him because he was kind, patient, and present. A banker who has rested can serve with heart. Bankers hold entire communities together, but who holds the bankers?
Nearly 90 bank employee deaths and suicides have been reported since 2014. Durgesh is no longer just a statistic to us. He was a friend. A son. A husband. A man who helped forty-seven families sleep peacefully while his own sleep was stolen by files and targets.
No more Durgesh Ranjans. No more families shattered by a system that keeps asking for more. No public sector bank employee should ever suffer this fate again.
Five days of work. Two days of life. They deserve it. *He deserved it.
Rest in peace, brother. You should still be sitting behind that counter, laughing with your villagers, calling me at midnight about the forty-eighth family you helped.
We will keep telling your story until the rules finally change. 🙏
- As told by Ram
Names changed to protect identity.
The public has been fed a false narrative villainizing PSU bankers. Everyone laughs at the "SBI lunch time" memes, but when PM Jan Dhan and zero-balance accounts hit record numbers, politicians take all the credit. Who actually did the grueling groundwork? The same mocked frontline staff.
Their real sacrifices are entirely erased. During COVID-19, 3,000+ bankers died providing essential services with zero national recognition. During Demonetization, exhausted cashiers faced such severe burnout that when cash tallies mismatched due to sheer volume, they had to pay the shortage out of their own pockets.
It is the ultimate hypocrisy. The top brass and politicians walk away with the credit for every successful financial inclusion policy, while the frontline workers who actually execute them are treated as villains.
Thanks for raising the issue, sir. 🫡
Management has now stooped to releasing AI-generated sympathy videos crying about "customer inconvenience" due to strikes. Pure hypocrisy. If they genuinely cared about customers, why are rural branches so desperately understaffed that people stand in line for 2-3 hours while a single burnt-out employee handles the entire load?
The PLI scheme is a draconian setup. It funnels 95% of the reward to the top 5% of management. Executives pocket ₹10L-₹20L bonuses (often equal to their annual basic pay), while the frontline staff actually doing the work gets ₹20k-₹25k. This scheme forces toxic cross-selling just so bosses can hit their bonus targets.
In toxic review meetings, management has the audacity to ask frontline workers, "Can you justify your salary?" The frontline staff should be asking them, "Can you justify your PLI?" Top management sits in AC cabins completely detached from the ground reality, pushing the fake narrative that "digitisation has reduced footfalls."
Visit a rural branch. They resemble fish markets. Overworked frontline staff face daily abuses from frustrated customers because of management's failure to hire. If banking is so vital to the economy, hire adequate staff and run shifts on Sundays. Public Sector Banks exist for public welfare first; profit is just a byproduct. Stop sacrificing basic banking for executive greed.
PNB management’s hypocrisy is fully on display. Instead of addressing severe staff shortages and legitimate employee concerns, you villainize your staff for striking. As a customer, I see right through this. If management treats customers like fools, I can only imagine the pressure on frontline staff. Stand with PNB employees!
Making videos about how difficult it is for people in hilly areas to reach banks only proves one thing: management has failed to make banking accessible. Stop blaming employees for structural failures. PSBs were created for public welfare, not profiteering. PNB has great employees, but its management is failing both the staff and the public.
Directing Banks to open branches this Sunday is not cool, Madam Finance Minister.
You said PSBs need to be “cool” to serve Gen Z.
Working Sundays isn’t cool.
Work-life balance is cool.
Respecting bankers’ time is cool.

March 2021, during the second wave of COVID, we enhanced a customer’s CC limit from ₹60 lakh to ₹1 crore. He needed to make an urgent payment of ₹25 lakh, otherwise he would have lost the deal.
After sanctioning the loan, we told the borrower to arrange the stamp paper so that we could disburse the enhanced portion.
The next day, his kid was hospitalised. He called me and said, “Sir, stamp paper arrange kara do, bohot bada loss ho jaayega.”
There was no one at the office, so I decided to go there myself.
Huge rush. I somehow bought the stamp paper, came back, and got the loan disbursed.
3–4 days later, I caught COVID.
I almost died. My body weight dropped by more than 15 kg. Since then, I have faced health issues that I had never experienced before.
Many of my colleagues weren’t as lucky. They lost their lives to COVID, serving the customers.
So when you say banking services are essential, you aren’t revealing some great secret to us.
We have served the nation when it mattered most, and we will continue to do so.
But when we demand something that has already been pending for over a decade, you preach gyaan to us?
We know what our responsibility is.
We just expect the same understanding of our demands.
India isn’t being driven by its politicians. politicians. It’s being driven by its aspirational youth. If our political class had shown even a fraction of the ambition, competence, and honesty of ordinary Indians, we should be growing at 12 percent plus. Instead, despite corruption and poor governance, India moves forward because millions of young Indians refuse to stop.
