@RobboAvFc1982 @FerrymansDaugh1 @EdwardG94482739 @Zero_4 British society is "so tolerant" of numerical minorities? Use your brain and draw reasonable inferences based on the other words he used, dude. He's talking about racial and religious minorities. Don't play dumb.
@Lowkey0nline I guarantee you this same asshole wants to send gunboats into the South China Sea in the name of "defending liberal democracy" because he can't say "putting the non-whites in their place" out loud.
@lorenzo_tondo As someone living in a country populated by scores and scores of the descendants of Italian refugees, I say this is a BS stance for the Italians to take. Stop waving your hands, Giuseppe, and behave yourself.
@Pingpu_per That actually isn't what you said and it doesn't matter anyway. What is relevant is international law and the repeated affirmances of both damn parties that Taiwan is part of China. Look at a primary source about who had China's UNSC seat until the 70s.
@Pingpu_per Dumbass, you're the one who cited historical dramas on TV as key sources for trying to understand who has sovereignty over Taiwan. Keep track of your own argument.
@Pingpu_per Crimea didn't become an independent state, it became a quasi-Russian protectorate due to it's Russian majority. Taiwan is populated by ethnic Hans.
@Pingpu_per @GabeShepperd @ArthropodFrog@dearclarissa@brhodes Who cares? You don't get to secede. Just like Atlanta doesn't get to secede from Georgia. China is no different in this respect.
@Pingpu_per More like arguing about law. It doesn't matter what Chang Kai Shek had for breakfast on July 6th, 1957 if your issue is "who has sovereignty over Taiwan?"
@emilylhauser As a male who is registered for the draft with Selective Service (as I had to by law) I can assure you that Americans with big ol' dicks (as well as me) do not have sovereignty over our bodies either.
@US_China_Menu If it was up to me we'd abolish the Senate and just have a unicameral legislature. With term limits, to get all the damn Boomers out of Congress. (Bernie can stay.)
@AmPrestigePod Iran and Iranian nationalism would also be an excellent episode. Lots of guests you could talk to, like @JohnGhazvinian or maybe @tparsi
@AmPrestigePod Enjoy the show a lot. Please try to do more episodes on history from the nationalist perspective of other countries. Cuba would be great, for example. Americans need to know how the rest of the world thinks.
