@JamesAFurey There is a growing agenda that disruptive students, esp. those at risk of PEX must have SEN. PEX's are quashed if full screening has not taken place even if there is no evidence or signs of SEN. This is forcing schools to deploy more resources and time to rule this out.
We are delighted to announce we are hosting our Year 7 Open Evening on Thursday 10th October.
Parents and children will have the opportunity to see the school in action and find out more about our engaging curriculum, our brand-new learning spaces and the support we provide.
@HMRCcustomers This did not help. It told me that the lines were busy and hung up on me. It sent me a text about being able to track progress online but you can't do this.
.@Warburtons someone/something has one job to do. One job! Needed 4 and was robbed. I mean how many times do you count how many are in the packet before buying?
@tombennett71 "aren't cut out for academic subjects" suggests never. However, being able to access is a problem. With expected reading ages of GCSE exam papers, there is no option to support students that do not reach "expected level" of reading. Should schools be accountable for all of this?
@Teacherglitter It's a minefield. I think it's important to acknowledge as so many students will be excited. It's more important to promote what it should stand for and why issues exist with the host nation. It's not right to show as we don't do this with other sporting/international events
@Miss_Snuffy Random allocation only kicks in at point 4 of your oversubscription criteria below SEND/CIC, siblings & staff children. Random allocation only works if all schools are operating the same. Your offer to a child who placed you 6th would not overrule a higher preference offer?
@KatStern4@tombennett71 Yes agreed. For a school with so much publicity having all details out there to see would highlight the reasons behind the success. High exclusion does not surprise me as expectations are really high so they follow through.
@tombennett71 Are they full now? The information on Ofsted page has not been updated since 2020 and says it was under PAN. No information on SEN numbers either. I think having information out for the public will help answer questions before they are asked. So easy to criticise those on top
