In #Haiti, #health, #hospital and #ambulance personnel may face the need of contributing to de-escalate unforeseeable external violent situations during the deployment of their #medicalmission.

In the context of a highly volatile security situation, the #ICRC team in #PortauPrince facilitated, last week, as a matter of urgency, a workshop on the subject.

The workshop was addressed to the National Ambulance Service of Haiti, counting on the attendance of MSF and the Hatian Red Cross as well.

Patients, health, hospital and ambulance personnel must be respected and protected. The medical mission must be facilitated in all circumstances.
