Great piece from @patrickmgleason on the importance of universal license recognition for skilled workers, especially in states with rapidly-growing populations. (Looking at you, TX and FL!)

Really great work from @RepBlakeMoore and his staff. Childhood independence fosters self-confidence and resiliency and kids thrive with it. Parents shouldn’t have to live in fear of giving their children reasonable opportunities to explore and grow. @FreeRangeKids@LetGrowOrg
This is heartbreaking. Across the country, parents are being punished for giving their kids reasonable, safe independence. Stories like Karyann's set a dangerous precedent and make it harder for children to learn and grow outdoors. A child's safety is always paramount, but we have to trust that parents know what’s best for their kids.
I recently introduced legislation to address this issue and protect families against unnecessary legal intervention. This will continue to be a bigger problem if we don't take action, and I hope my colleagues will work with me on a solution.
250 years ago today, on July 2, 1776, the Second Continental Congress in Philadelphia voted to adopt Richard Henry Lee’s resolution declaring the thirteen American colonies “free and independent States” and dissolving all political ties with Great Britain.
The result was frickin' awesome.
Meanwhile, Connecticut is considering a bill that would require AI to give "factual" answers.
Neighboring states with bills that basically contradict each other... if you you were wondering why we needed a moratorium.
Annunciation was my childhood school and church and I have so many memories of the all-school masses. This is unbelievably devastating. Please pray for this very special community.
Really pleased for the opportunity to contribute to this new @ArchbridgeInst report on economic freedom and social mobility along with @EricaJedynak, @bgwilterdink, @ebwhamilton and so many other great policy folks!
Thank you to all of the authors who contributed to this project, including @SpencerJCox for writing the foreword—and the organizations who are helping to spread these solutions.
Congrats to Louisiana's @realChuckOwen, @TAPressly, and @PelicanInst, as well as a big thank you to @LAGovJeffLandry for signing the Welcome Home Act into law! This is a huge win for workers in the state. https://t.co/k8o4XMMVCI

Very grateful to @SenatorHarkins for his dedication to the Lifesaving Treatment Act and to Gov. @tatereeves for signing SB 2858 into law. Patients in Mississippi now have a clear pathway to pursue innovative, personalized treatments that are as unique as they are.
New hope for patients! Mississippi is the latest state to adopt our Right to Try for Individualized Treatments! Thanks to @SenatorHarkins, the MS legislature, and Gov @tatereeves for enacting the Lifesaving Treatment Act - Senate Bill 2858! https://t.co/uEihX3RNk1
