I really so much agree with this. 110%!
I’ve seen so many ridiculous storm chaser posts where they are screaming. That antic just gets in the way of calm thinking of what to do.
If someone screamed on a chase with me, industrial-strength duct tape would be placed over the responsible party's mouth, or they'd be let out on the side of the road. Rule No. 1 in chasing (real cyclones or even li'l twisty things): when it gets hairy, stay centered & zen.
#Erick is wasting no time this morning, with MW data indicating a developing core structure. Percolating convection is beginning to wrap around the northern fringes of the CDO, strengthening the vortex via height falls.
The environment that Erick is situated in is anomalously favorable given the background state, and the NHC now foreacatst a landfall intensity of 110mph (95kts). Given this system's small size, this still might be too conservative. #Tropicalupdate

On Saturday, voters in South Texas will decide whether Elon Musk gets to create his own city at the SpaceX rocket launch site there.
We got the voter rolls and analyzed them.
There are only 283 people eligible to cast a ballot. We found that most of them work for Musk.
