My latest: there’s pain at the pump. Some of this is inescapable fallout from conflicts in the Middle East and Russia/Ukraine. But much of it is self-imposed. The clean fuel regulations cost 13.57 cents a litre for diesel and 12.24 cents a litre for gasoline. To add insult to injury, tax is charged on top of these costs. Even worse, to comply with them, refiners must blend in biofuels such as ethanol and biodiesel. Canada is not self-sufficient and imports over half of what it needs, predominantly from the US.

Somehow, in the middle of a trade war and an energy crisis, it has gone unnoticed that Canada — the aspiring energy superpower — has artificially made itself dependent on the United States for fuel.

No mention that he has been Chair of Brookfield Corporation since 2010 — the same firm where Mark Carney was Chair of Brookfield Asset Management until he ran for Liberal leader

No mention of his long-standing ties to Carney, or that he has repeatedly praised the Prime Minister’s direction

Viewers are left with the impression they’re hearing from a neutral former diplomat, not the current chairman of one of the world’s largest asset managers with deep connections to the PM. No mention that Carney still stands to gain advantageously from two specific Brookfield funds

🦅⛔️🌹🛢️ : Mark Carney now admits there is no defined timeline for consultations with First Nations on major projects, like the Pacific Link pipeline, approved under the Building Canada Act.

So instead of building projects rapidly, Mark Carney is admitting he is adding more layers of red tape, companies must jump through.

This is exactly how projects cost billions of dollars, before anything is even done, beyond consultations.

This is exactly why the taxpayer is forced to pay for projects that run way, way over budget.

The Prime Minister has the authority to build major projects, but refuses to assert that authority. All while stringing the people of Alberta along, with promises of real rapid economic growth via an MOU.

The only thing that MOU has accomplished so far, is to solidify the green agenda taxation and fee structures.

Again, Carney is gifting First Nations power over our economy, while asking nothing in return.

As teachers rallied at Queen’s Park on October 24th, roughly 40 members of the Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP) joined them.

According to the communists, even though the teachers were warned not to accept material from other groups, the RCP ran out of placards they were handing out which said “Fight like the French”.

“Far from being outsiders, comrades connected with the militant mood already developing among education workers, selling over 40 copies of the latest issue of Communist Revolution.”

I will never acknowledge Islamic Heritage Month. Islam has no place in Canadian heritage. The country was built by Christians — British Protestants and French Catholics — and named the Dominion of Canada from a Bible verse (Psalm 72:8). Muslims were a handful of people for most of our history (13 in the 1871 census, a few hundred into the 1930s, first mosque only in 1938). Their numbers only exploded after the immigration changes of the 1960s and 70s. That’s not heritage; that’s recent arrival.
I will never celebrate Islamic history in Canada or their culture. There is still no official Christian Heritage Month in a country founded on Christian roots, yet governments push this every October. I’m done with this nonsense !.

Just days after B.C. voted in a Conservative majority, a $1.26-billion energy deal has been announced 🇨🇦🛢️

On October 26, Ovintiv announced its acquisition of Logan Energy, as B.C. prepares for a major shift in its approach to oil and gas development.

Incoming Premier Lorne Doerkson has pledged to double the province’s natural gas production by 2032, reduce regulatory barriers and encourage more investment in the energy sector.

The timing is notable, although there’s no indication the election result caused the acquisition.

With a new government promising to expand energy production, could B.C. be entering a new era of oil and gas investment? 👀
