@TheKevinDalton Honestly I'm impressed on how the building handled the quake. Yes, the unreinforced brick infill crumbled but the steel frame did it's job. That building did not collapse. It allowed people to escape.
@SeeDaneRun@FedEx My city's FB group has frequent, if not daily posts, of a package being delivered to an unfamiliar porch from either Fedex, UPS, or Amazon. Clearly a certain percentage of misdeliveries is expected. I wish you luck in getting yours because you're going to need it.
@BlackBlessedLDS Who calls the freeways in So Cal "highways"? No one. They are freeways and they are almost universally called by "the" and its number. It is the 5, the 15 and unless you are particularly stubborn, you pick up that nomenclature very quickly.
@TeeplesCY The Seattle Temple is very likely due for a major renovation. So having the Tacoma Temple to the south & now the Marysville Temple to the north, that will make is easier on us members in the Puget Sound area to have access to a temple during that time & beyond.
@SussexHenryVIII This is why I like actual physical books. Yes they take up space but they aren't going to magically disappear or change one day on someone else's whim.
Everyone is basically on the primary schedule now! (25 minutes for singing time & 25 minutes of class time)
Not sure if this means it's because we all have the attention span of kids now...

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced adjustments to the Sunday class meeting schedule.
“We are confident that members will be blessed by these changes,” the First Presidency wrote in a letter released Monday, March 30, 2026.
For the first time since the 2019 adjustment to a two-hour block, Sundays will look different. Now, instead of alternating classes on Sundays, members will meet for all their meetings during the second hour.
The new schedule will take effect the first week of September.

This looks like the gobbledygook signs that AI tends to produce. It's like they created it in AI, cleaned up the edges, slapped the Olympic & Paraolympic logos on a ski resort stock photo and called it good. There was definitely no market testing done.
