“Disturbing public order” (his faith?)

All because one man refused to bow.
These charges carry death or life in a cage.

Why is Egypt continuing to deny Said Abdelrazek medical care while his health collapses in 10th of Ramadan Prison?

Said, a Christian convert from Islam, has been held since July 2025 on terrorism-related charges that human rights groups say stem solely from his conversion and attempt to update his official documents to reflect his faith.

Amnesty International and USCIRF document earlier torture (including suspension in a crucifixion position and targeting of his Christian tattoo), ongoing physical abuse, inadequate food, restricted lawyer access, and withheld medical treatment for severe untreated pain.

This violates Egypt’s obligations under the UN Convention Against Torture and the ICCPR.His next Terrorism Court hearing is set for 6 September 2026.

Why did someone message me and tell me that Said Abdelrazek didn't get arrested for being a Christian ??

Once Russia Said Abdelrazek deported him back to Egypt attempted to officially change his religion on his national identification card because it's required in Egypt .

Unlike America where we have religious freedom and don't have this problem.

Said Mansour Rezk Abdelrazek was arrested in Egypt primarily because he formally requested to update his government identity documents to reflect his conversion from Islam to Christianity.

While he was interrogated and briefly detained by National Security immediately upon his 2024 deportation from Russia,

his formal arrest and current trial on terrorism charges were triggered later by his attempt to change his legal religious status.

When Abdelrazek formally applied to change his designation from Muslim to Christian,

Egyptian authorities treated the request as a national security threat.

But what's the charge for changing your religion from Christian to Muslim in Egypt ?

Not a national security threat ..

it's welcomed with open arms.

This request led directly to his arrest on fabricated charges of

"joining a banned terrorist organization,"

"contempt for Islam," and "spreading misinformation".

Egypt routinely uses State Security and Terrorism Courts to penalize citizens who leave Islam.

The same system that arrested him and imprisoned him ..

Now turns the other cheek as Said Abdelrazek faces daily persecution

Such as :

-Denied basic human needs.
-Denied medical care.
-Denied the right to worship.
-Denied protection as a minority in a majority Muslim prison.

Hung in a cross position with rope and handcuffs for hours for inmates and guards to laugh at and torture in hopes he'd return to Islam.

Cross tattoo forcefully removed from his shoulder.

Said Abdelrazek was subjected to torture, physical abuse, and isolation in the 10th of Ramadan Prison to force a confession or extract information, which is a common tactic in Egypt's specialized Terrorism Circuits.

For months he's had severe lower back pain, urinary tract pain, and an underlying heart condition that causes him to pass out without warning and 0 medical attention to intervene as he awaits his trial date 9-6-26 .

I believe this is a hidden systemic tactic being used in hopes that's he won't see his court date.

On 9-6-26 if he makes it that long , he will either be sentanced to death or life in prison .

0 witnesses showed up to testify against him 0 actusl evidence held against him for the charges they're trying to use to make him disappear.

What happened to protecting all 3 religions on paper, or is that just a systemic myth in Egypt ?

Why will said asking the state to legally recognize him as a Christian cost him his life? 🔥
